Depending on your content/images. Is it too violating? How is your domain? If your content/images do not violate too much. If the link is not old, it will be approved quickly.
 
Advertise on BHW
You should target a broader audience rather than a narrow one, this will increase your spend and narrow your reach. Try targeting things like video games, people in their 20s and 30s, etc., broaden your target range.
 
Let Facebook adjust itself. You can test low budget with many camps. If a camp is doing well, increase the budget. "The best way to target is not to target at all." you can try. Just from my experience

Let FB distribute, the narrower the file, the more expensive your ad will be
 
You can target by keywords poker, games, and can limit by age.
You can test multiple campaigns with a small budget, and if the campaign delivers good results, you should increase the budget and scale it up.
 
Add demographics, each ad group will have a different demographic to find the group with the best results, for example online games, like playing cards, poker,...

Facebook's AI is now quite smart, you don't need to target anything, just focus on images and content

You can target areas where there are many people like online games or football where there are many people who also have gambling interests. Try it out.

If you really wish to go for the interests, then you can select the casino related interests like poker, sports betting etc. But in our experience it will lead to higher CPMs and the conversion rate do not really improve, so I would suggest going broad and focus on other things like visuals, texts and the landing page.

Thank you very much! This is very helpful advice. I've been observing lately that ad creative has a lot to do with getting the audience right.
 
Casino advertising is pretty tightly controlled now, but I think you should leave a landing page for a higher chance of getting players, and searching by audience is a bit difficult, because no one wants to play cards publicly.

- Create Look alike audience if you can
- Check placements as well as demographics
