Facebook friends how to add people?

i find if you have friends in common it helps
or like the guy above said, interact with there posts and crap and at some point it will allow you to add them.

If you have mutual friends, FB's algorithm will automatically send you a friend request.
 
Are you keep sending requests to strangers? If you've had multiple friend requests declined, your account might be restricted from sending more requests for a while
 
You can join groups, interact and make friends with members, so it will be easier to be accepted
 
temporary block from Facebook because you added too many people at one time
 
i found that if you search their name / last name and send them friend request you bypass all the restrictions but if you add them thru a scraped profile link URL it will block the request

You should add 3 new friends each 30mins, not a massive number of friends in a short time to avoid abnormality. Interacting with their post, the reaction is enough
 
hmm, did you add many friends in a short time, Facebook can recognize it was abnormal activities, maybe you can add friends who have the same friends or Facebook's recommend
 
If you cannot add someone, the common reason could be they have restricted friend request privacy. Only friends of friends can send a friend request. The option of sending friend requests isn't public. And you have no mutual friends with that friend.
 
It might be that the person has "Friends of friends" selected as their privacy setting.
OR
You've recently sent a lot of friend requests
 
Maybe they rejected you and press "I dont know this person"
 
Hpy many friend request did you sent? also are you sending friend request to private accounts? private accounts are more likely to report you or decline the friend request or maybe is becasue they change their settings that only friends of friends can send them friend request.
