    So emails will now be forwarded to their original sign up email id. I have bunch of those email ids. While these emails were junk as they used to end up in "others" tab , now those emails may just go to their inbox (gmail, yahoo etc.). Things may have gone better for email marketing. Your views please .

    I don't get it.

    think about much marketing information google collects from email, why wouldn't facebook just leave their email service up as an option and keep collecting data? Why not promote it more heavily?

    Is this a signal that facebook is officially on the decline as a source of market information?

    I honestly don't understand what facebook's plan is.
