Facebook declares war on spammers?

Almost everyone on facebook uses scripts to select all their friends. So yeah, everyone who does should get a letter? :S

That letter is weird enough without it actually coming at your doorstep. and that too for only having 6 profiles? LOL.

I use google adsense to my site,maybe it bothers them.Please give me some advice,delete all the fake profile and remove links from the groups?
 
Change your ip/use proxies and start over?
i.e add a new admin to your groups, tell your current friends to add new profiles?

Lucius not only for 6 fake accounts,you have 5 reasons in the first post.And I had a lot banned accounts.
 
I look at the button Deactivate account and I have to admit that it is really hard to click uh oh 7 accounts with 5000 friends,tell me must... pleaseeee

I mean, wtf? And even the PM's is just such BS, these people have essentially opted in by adding you as a friend and they can opt out anytime by blocking you. Were you just sending messages to every tom dick and harry?

I mean this shit is scary... I just started a FB capaign and I'm adding hundreds of friends a day, I have multiple accounts and using my home IP since I don't see how it could be construed as spam because I'm not PM'ing anyone other than those who are on my friends list aside from the initial invitation message.

FB needs to calm the fuck down...

I am pretty sure that I was reading not that long ago about a law that was introduced that was along the lines of, "You cannot create accounts on social networking sites under false identities". Probably because the US government is stealing all the data and getting fedup with a database of millions of inexistant people lol

AND.. The biggest groups on Facebook has that java script entered in their info all over..

So close those groups als then.. SCREW FB right now

Why not?? Might as well jail every author online and offline who uses a pen name. Or all the celebs who have a taken name. This is stupid, Facebook is acting like its world government or something, they really need to fuck off.

ill say for the time being just stop these Facebook activities(for few weeks) let the dust settle and then you can start over all these groups over again but since you not take caution now you have to suffer so ill say just dont touch facebook for few weeks then try to buy a domain name under somesone else buy vps server for your dirty work so you will stay safe and always use proxies lol not for your paypal login but for most of your Blackhat stuff

Unlike CL, facebook has a better site security team! Given their cash surplus and influence, I am sure they can put a couple of law firms dedicated to chase the big spammers away! I bet they wouldnt bother spending 1 million to just track and issue lawsuits to protect their site interests and quality... FB becoming a SPAM haven is the last thing they could expect!

Its always better to play safe than regret later...

If you take their name, address, etc yeah. Pictures uploaded on the internet are not necessarily copyrighted which means they can be used by anybody. Chances are it's the girls on dam fault.


Facebook is becoming a royal pain in the ass, I'm cashing in now.
 
Didn't they just purchase a bunch of top notch security / scraper guys Company from Malaysia this week? Would this give Facebook any additional abilities?
 
don't ignore C&D letters.

i remember an exec-vip did and the feds busted him in his house. FB is a big company so don't take this letter lightly.
