I would think facebook would be sending C&Ds to US abusers long before abusers from other countries.

Seriously. Having a pen name is not illegal. FB is getting to big for it's britches. They need to calm the heck down. In my own experience, FB pretty much blows for marketing anyway.
Ahhh.. there's the special something... You didn't "listen" when they deleted your accounts and now you pissed them off.

I got a message from facebook saying that i was misusing the friend request feature on facebook and should stop it immediately. So i let the account stay untouched for 3-4 days and then i started doing it all over again. So after a week they finally banned my account by saying that i was using fake information in my account.
Although, i got that account banned, i still have other accounts that are completely fine. May be we should all try to limit our activities and use good proxies. But coming back to your story, i think you should not try doing anything from those accounts.
Let them stay as they are for a month and then try using them with moderation.

I believe they didn't ban the accounts because they most likely don't know how many accounts there are.....

this is horse hockey, do you know how much spamming you have to do to get notice like that... trully a scare tactic sounds like to me, you know how many businesses spam in facebook alone.. lol you gotta be kidding me.. stay under the radar and when you get the warnings from facebook in the pink popup dont keep on posting LMAO!!! this is y i dont suggest running bots 24 hours a day 7 days a week and you were probably running them from the same IP address, GOTS TO BE MORE CAREFUL if it is half ass true... believe nun of what u hear and half of what you see...
well, they say their problem is with the scripts you use, so just act stupid, call them(the law firm) and really act stupid, until they say that maybe your computer was pwned by a botnet or something

i find this wierd that they have not just closed the accounts in question
if the knew which accounts you are running
i think they have traced you through an ip that is connecting to FB and sent a letter to you hoping you will close all accounts
just sit back dont do anything let the smoke clear abit and if you are going to have to do shit on facebook do it via a dialup or mobile or use PROXIES

What I would do If I were a stinky FB spammer with C&D letters hunting me:
* Check the legal situation in your country: are you doing illegal activities? Most probably not.
* Civil court? Which fee do you have to expect to pay in your country?
* Create a company and hide all behind it. Make it a legal business. When they start a civil court, your company goes bankrupt, you do not.
* If you are already making good money: ask a lawyer to be sure. Think then about a holding to protect also your wealth.

I will admit I did not read this whole thread, but here is some advice that I posted in another thread...
DO NOT ignore their C&D letter. Furthermore, unless you are anonymous with your CPA networks, they will always find you if they want you bad enough. All they do is follow the money trail; they do not waste their time with other BS. This is the same for any social network/ISP/company. Microsoft is the same way. It is all in the money trail.
Also, yes, FB has hired the same legal team that represents CL.
IMHO, C&D letters are merely cheap scare tactics, but I would seriously advise you to NOT ignore the letter, and stop all of your FB promotions unless you truly know how to remain 100% anonymous.
