Lol. Sounds like someone is banking on FB. Social networks have a notorious habbit of having unloyal users. FB is done growing (100% growth).
Their new profile page is just to get people back on FB. All their new roll outs must be to retain fanship/users. Usually thats when people change things.

There is excess spam on Facebook. If Zynga takes back its hands, then Boom! Facebook looses a major part of its traffic and that too from main countries like US and UK. People are so much addicted to Zynga Games that many of them open FB only to play Zynga Games and nothing else! And regarding the new Layout, Facebook did it like last time and people got habituated of it. Though FB should keep the rollback button too but it won't else most of the users will say, "Hey Zucky, your update is just so silly so let me kick on your ass and rollback!".

I think people should realise that no, this change is not going to loose Facebook users. Regardless of what small changes Facebook make, it has half a billion users and growing, it's here to stay.
If you think a profile layout change is going to cause users to flee to Bebo, then think again.

During late July, 2009 Scott Miller made a statement on his Facebook account, saying "If you haven?t heard, [Duke] took a little break, but is back in the game now."[81] Shortly after, it was revealed that an official Duke Nukem Facebook page was created, wherein screenshots of Duke Nukem Forever began to be posted. Currently there are four new images on the page, one featuring the Cycloid Emperor and the rest of the Battlelord.[citation needed] On July 17, 2009 the page was taken down due to Facebook having a policy about not allowing accounts for fictional characters. Later that day Scott Miller announced that a official fan page would be put up the following week. Agreed.
I doubt everyone will ever leave facebook, at least that is the situation in the area where I live. Facebook is so hot right now even my mother in law doesn't bother calling/SMSing me, but instead she uses the facebook message system. How lame. I really hate it.
