Cloaking ! Hell i completely forgot about this !
I used to have shitloads of cloacked pages (damn can't recall what i was using) Hummm searchenginecloaker or something like that anyways. The problem is, to get the IPs from the FB checkers. That's another ball game !
You can't just use the IP addresses since they grow/change and FB is starting to employ reviewers outside their domain similar to Google/Microsoft. Obviously I am biased but wpCloaker can cloak FB traffic. We have an updating IP list and support referrer checking as well. Even with this the best practice is to set up the FB campaign and not cloak initially. Then turn on cloaking once you've gotten through the manual review process (you can check page traffic for this or wait 1-2 days after getting approved).
you can't directly. You can't select a FB page within the ad since that page is not under control of the cloaking script. If you treat the FB page as a regular URL then a cloaking extension to a tracker like p202 is the best way to make this look legit.
You would use cloaking with Facebook advertising (or any other paid traffic) to show a visitor a landing page that violated the terms and conditions of FB. For example, a CPA offer, a direct opt-in squeeze page without a disclaimer, etc.
