Just read about this. It seems that fanpage is no longer worth the investment to build. At the moment, using personal facebook account seems to be a better choice in terms of better reach to more people.

Yeah, Facebook is close to guarantee 0.01% reach on page posts !

It is a big concern as the investment on a fanpage no longer seems to be worthwhile venture. Imagine the amount of money spent on accumulating 'Likes'. All these money are wasted. Such a pity to those who focuses on Fanpage marketing.

For individuals and small business owners, they should focus on other strategies and techniques.
A post boosted with Facebook ads is needed from time to time.
Nowadays, no one should focus on gaining likes, except huge startups.

my posts hardly even show on people's newsfeed 99% of the time, that really sucks.

True, I have also read several blogs in which people are recommending that we use the personal accounts instead of the fan pages if at all we want to invest in facebook based marketing. Want thing I also know is that with your account being used for marketing needs, it is more authentic than the fan pages. I think it is the time for us to adapt the changes and keep moving. In marketing, it is all about flexibility.

The limit to personal facebook account lies with 5k friends max. And I noticed that there are many fake accounts on Facebook nowadays. And bot is not capable to identify fake from real facebook account. See bots like Mass planner can auto accept friends invite but they are not capable to go out to find real human users.

More updates from facebook. Now ALL EXTERNAL LINK will show the below. Facebook is trying to contain traffics within their site. And if user are not being directed to an external site, there is no way that we can drop cookies for affiliate marketing since most people uses Facebook app and the app contain and maintain its own database of caches and cookies.

You followed a link on facebook.com that redirects to another website: http://xxx.xxx/
You can now continue to this website, or go back to the page that you were on before.
Remember, only follow links from sources that you trust.

That's the message you get when you click on links that are suspected to be spam, but still not completely blocked on Facebook.

It's been there for a long time.

Take a look at all the links. I just checked youtube and bbc news. The link is showing the same thing. I think the roll out is in batches (maybe by region) and would affect all links eventually. Remember that Facebook is trying to keep all traffics within Facebook platform.

Checked. All links work as usual for me.

Your fb account must have been marked for spamming, try posting same links on another fb account

Just tested with my personal facebook account. Also facing the same issue.
