Hey everyone,

I was running my Facebook Ads smoothly, and on January 23rd, I realized that there was a duplicate campaign (campaign with the same name as my campaign) running with a very high budget. I checked, and a Russian ad was running from my account. I turned it off and checked if another user was added to my Business Manager, but there wasn't any, which meant my own account was hacked. I changed the password and shifted the authenticator to a different device. The ad was automatically on the next day. I contacted Facebook support and deactivated my credit card, but it was too late as transactions of 2 X $600 and 2 X $900 were already made. I asked FB support for help, but they kept postponing the request by saying they already knew about this issue and forwarded my case to their internal team. I even got a call from them, but they didn't assure me if I would get the amount back or not. It's been 3 months now, and I'm feeling hopeless. Have any of you guys faced the same issue? Did you get a refund for the same? What can be done in my case?

Thanks

In your case, i think the attacker is still in your BM, let’s check your Admins and check to your Page and Instagram section to see something wrong there. If not, check your account once again.

For the money, have you ever reported to your bank for the refund?

Request charge back to your credit card issuer but Facebook wouldn't like that

you changed your profile login but it still happens the next night? or change cookies because hackers may have used cookies to log into your account. you should also enable FB's 2Fa authentication to make things more secure. Report the amount to the bank. they will assist you to request FB to return the money to you sooner
