Facebook banned Twitterfeed?

Hi guys, i've been using twitterfeed to link a blog's rss feed to facebook fan page wall, and it has been smooth (apart from the fact that the "share" button does it appear is posts), but today all posts made via twitterfeed have just vanished.

Checked other fanpages that were using it and the fate is similar, all posts made via twitterfeed are long gone.

Do you guys have had this problem too ? I've yet to find any public statement about this from twitterfeed, i think this happened maybe 8hrs ago or something like that.

What alternatives are you using? Tried rss grafitty, but it doesnt pull post images for thumbnail.

Just tried contacting twitterfeed, let's see how it goes. In my fan pages the content was almost 100% from twitterfeed posts, the only ones that stayed were some random manual posts i made. Was your percentage similar, or a smaller one, maybe it has got something to do with the fact that i used it exclusively, and didn't update manually that much.
 
I thought they stopped offering this back in like Oct? Maybe I'm thinking linking RSS feeds to notes.....

I do know twitterfeed wasn't able to let me add fb pages when I was trying to link new ones to it.

RSS feed to fan page wall was/is working as long as i can remember, i have added a new fb page maybe 3 weeks ago, so i'm pretty sure that was ok also, maybe you have missed a step or something ?
 
RSS GRAFITTI Is Facebooks official app For this - Not sure abt your situation but it pulls images for me no problem - the reason for this is 3 months ago Facebook announced they would no longer allow external pulling of content through notes and external apps. everything must be related to a facebook app. twitterfeed is external.

hm, didn't know you could still set up rss to post on fb page walls, I was always under the impression it was originally through notes.....well too late now since it stopped working for me back in Oct when they announced it. Hopefully there's some other alternatives like that RSS Graffiti
 
Well either way it was "unbanned" now, and erased posts were restored, but i'm doing the switch to rss graffity, since it includes the "share" button in every post, and that is also a plus as far as viral reach.
 
Just a token of apreciation:

RSS Grafitty is really the best solution over twitterfeed (even before this temp ban), since it packs the "share" button, has a lot more configuration, and is a facebook app.

For those making the change, like myself, you might come up with the problem that thumbnail pictures don't get posted, that is because grafitty only uses info from the feed and not the post itself, unlike twitterfeed that posts the link (so the thumb gets picked up by facebook).
To fix this assuming you are running a WP blog like myself, just install WP RSS Images plugin, and it will create enclosure tabs for your feed, that grafitty can pick up with ease.

Problem solved :)
 
twitterfeed is back now,but i use rss graffity and has great feature

use wizard rss to display full text rss feed
