Facebook ads - worth it?

Facebook ads can or cannot be worth it depending on what you are doing and your experience! Normally its trial and error until you crack the "code".

I run a ad on one of my fb fan page posts. Spent under $10 with an cost per engagement of $0.7. I got 117 likes and about 30 organic likes along with it for free! Reach was over 4000 with a CTR of 8.675%. WORTH IT?

It's probably works but it's a bigger risk today than couple of years ago.
 
Well, depends on the product you're promoting. If you rely only on amazon associates revenue I doubt you can get profitable with ads.
Currently how much do you earn per unique visitor?
 
I had a different experience with Facebook and found the ads to expensive and ineffective. I have had better results with Google and Bing but that doesn't mean that they couldn't work for you. You won't know until you try.

Very actual question, but it so hard. I do not want to lose my money for bad traffic:/
 
take few courses over the internet , it will help you... and sure facebook is really great but you should know what to do otherwise ... you will lose a lot of money!
 
I use fb ads to get my fb pages started. Nobody is going to like a page with no likes. But I focus on a very targeted group and add slowly. Now that fb is limiting organic reach I have to do more often but I also add content, share others, etc.
 
I would say that if you are still a newbie you will have to do a lot of reading there is plenty of Facebook marketing information online so so your reading first. By having a Fans page I would say that is a smart move and far cheaper to test the waters when ti comes to promoting your product or service online.
A few tips:
1. If you are planning to pay for ads made a new FB account and start with a FB ads Coupon
2. Target an easy audience and link them to your fan page directly rather than your website.
3. Invest in your Fan Page and make sure that you have a appealing page with good posts and hopefully a viral application that will get people to to share by default your page or even your website url
4. You can hire a programmer right here at BHW to set up everything for you.

Very expensive in my opinion, but looks like if you're willing to work , they can pay off.
 
By my opinion it definietly worth buying.

Those kind of likes are real and if you want to go further with your page this is prob the best solution

Invest on knowledge before investing on Fb ads.You will lose a lot of money if you don't know how to target the right audience.
Test will small money and find the right audience with the right ads copy.

Depends of your website. If you planing to get some money or marketing from it then the best way to gather real likes are by fb ads
 
I wouldn't ever invest money on internet all i do is gather money from internet.
