O so you mean. If they NEED a CC. Even for something free, tell them in the ad? Like lay everything on the table and dont BS them
Exactly. Facebook likes it when you do this and you lower the curiosity seekers.
I had a CPA offer which paid $20, but required the person to pay $1.95 or something. The ad said, submit your name, address, email and then pay the $1.95, amongst other things of course.
There was zero sales jargon, nothing confusing, straight up, no bullshit. Following that kinda pattern stops idiots clicking. I say that, but it actually just lowers them, on many of these offers you'll still unfortunately see 100+/1 clicks/conversion ratios. This route is often the best way to go though, as in my experience this has bought ads to a positive roi.
Just try your very, very hardest to scare people off, you don't want them to click unless you're convinced it'll convert super easily, because unless you choose an extremely tiny demographic, you'll get more than enough eyeballs.
Sometimes LPs help, sometimes they don't. Facebook is a strange old game because the demographics react so differently. Oh, the ad review staff are a strange kettle of fish as well, i've only had a few ads refused, but sometimes, the reason makes zero sense.
I also have a theory that many of the ads you see are just idiots having a go, because some of them, imo, would get masses of clicks and the product/offer is just plain crap. So don't always copy the ads you see, this isn't adwords!
Good luck, you should have fun!
