Facebook Ads underperforming

Nothing you can do about this. This is the result if Goverment are into Social Media. I suggest you to run a Conversion campaign rather than messaging. You can learn almost everything related to it in Facebook Blueprint.

^^...
Do NOT run ads during the 4th quarter.

The big boys are DUMPING money and buying up ALL the best traffic, you're buying the low quality shit. You won't get conversions at your normal rate.

Wait until the 2nd or 3rd week of Jan.

But sadly it gets bad leading up the 14th of Feb.... but after that its dead and you'll get good conversions again.

All you can do is wait it out. It happens every year.

Conversions are up and down depending on the account/product. On one of my own personal ecom products, the ROAS dropped by about 1.5x on already thin margins. I switched to manual bidding, lost some money for a few days but now it's back spending about $1800 per day at around 3x.

As for client accounts, some down and some up, but stopping is definitely not an option. I feel like we're buying the ads pretty good, all things considered. I'm sure we could always be doing better but I think there are a lot of people doing a lot worse in Q4.

Could you link me to the Q4 Board? No idea what that is.
I suppose I could try to learn ecom and lead gen. Any useful links you could redirect me to?

Sorry to be a burden.

"All over the board" is a phrase that means things are fluctuating. There is not an actual board or forum.

As for links, there are some decent groups on FB. Facebook Ad Buyers is decent. I recently joined Adleaks Platinum and there's lots of good content there.

Like others have said, Q4 is a bad time to learn ecom or lead gen. If you want to learn ecom, pick a product, make a site, and buy some ads. Just look at what other real brands are doing for their ads and try to replicate it as best you can. Or find an affiliate offer and promote that.

Are you using the bully method - perhaps that works with a very seasoned pixel.

Glad its working out great for you and your client. Congratulation have a good x mas & happy new year.

Yes.. and the pixel is super seasoned.

You have a good Xmas too!

Most people can't pull it off. That's why I say just pause the shit until the competition dies down.

Thanks bud, see you around. :)
