Hello,

I want to use Facebook Ads to target restaurant owners in a small city.

When I select the city the audience is 1.6 millions without filling any interest.

When I enter all audiences related to restaurants owners like:

Food and restaurants page admins, restaurant owners, Work in Food and restaurant industry...

I only get an audience size of 2200.

Is there any good way to target restaurant owners effectively?

Thanks

Find food delivery platforms in your city - they can be delivery services like Zomato, Uber Eats, Door Dash. Also find big restaurants, and fast food chains in your city that deliver food, e.g. Pizza Hut. If you know how to use Facebook ads, you can steal their audiences easily. This audience would be very likely to buy online from a restaurant.

In this specific country, the majority of small restaurants and fast food shops doesn't use/know LinkedIn.
Unfortunately if there is no place where owners congregate online in your country, then you will find it very difficult to reach out at scale to them online.

Why don't you try cold emailing? That works better than fb ads. You can try emaillistusa dot com for targeting any niche or country for marketing any product or service

Email Marketing is the effective way in my opinion!

leave it without targeting interest and run conversion campaigns with pixel

I started the campaign using interests like Chicken, meal, vegetables, Beef....

I'm getting leads at $0.85 per lead.

You can create different ad sets and test out each interest you think are relevant to your niche which will expand your target audience size.

Adding multiple or more interest in one ad set will always reduce your audience size majorly.

Try to find more broader interest in your Niche than going for highly precise ones. As per my experience, now FB ads works best when we have huge audience to target, and we go after broader interest. Precise targeting era was more of 2014 to 2019....

Most sucessful businesses start with building a database of your ideal customers.

If you start with a product, create that and then look to build a database of prospects, it is an incredibly expensive way to go about building a business.

If you are not able to build a sizeable database of prospects before you start, where landing just 1% would give you a profitable business, best not to even bother starting that idea, unless you have a fortune to throw at sales and marketing.

Firstly, What are you trying to target? Is that a promotional advert or lead generation or conversion? Again is that a video creative did on your own or someone's?

Also, what budget are you willing to spend? My suggestion would be to go with a minimal budget with 2 different creatives as CBO and with multiple times views selection. And, 10 days later do the retargeting for another few weeks with different creatives or a funneling and landing page to contact stuff. Check this works!

It's for a client of mine.

I'm getting leads at $0.85/lead, so IT'S WORKING WELL and the cost is very good.

Are the leads converting and is the return benefiting your client?

Before he was getting leads at $5/leads, the leads will convert because it's free service to subscribe restaurants to his app.

His team will call the leads to onboard them.

From his previous experience the conversion is the easiest part.

You are doing that client a tremendous service then by lowering the cost per lead from 5.00 to .85.

You should find more clients as you clearly know what you are doing.

Try google ads and email for this. Fb may not as effective as for restaurant's customer.

Try small business owners, I think they have this interest. And maybe combine with food interests.
