it is me that new to facebook ads or they very expensive I did some test prices were 1.5 dollars per click
and conversion was 0

Yup its expensive... you need a good budget to start fb ads.
 
If you do it right, you can really bring the costs down. FB advertising isnt easy but once u get the hang of it, its awesome.

You need to wait for the ad to optimize, that will bring the costs down
 
Yeah some cases fb ads is a bit expensive
alternatively get a course about fb ads, know "the deep" of it, integrate with your niche (all back to niche)
 
I'm getting mine 0.04 per add to cart and around $1 per purchase so a $1 per click is awful. Do some more testing and create better ad copy.
 
also check that, only allow wifi as connection when it comes to mobile, dont burn money on people who are just reading on the public transport.
 
you can buy churn and burn facebook ads account so that you will not worry in spending so much in per click..

turn off instagram ads too and do split testing on desktop and mobile ads.. and see which will perform best..

make sure your capaigns are engaging too
 
What's your average margin per sale? Fb ads are good especially for high margin sales for a good ROI. Some people prefer high margins products and less sales volume instead for those reasons. Your marketing options become better.

Your gonna have to burn money to do A/B testing, make sure to read alot on fb ads to reduce testing money cost.

You need to have a good image in your ad. Or try putting a video instead. So alot of people will click on it. It will lower the cost of you have a lot of engagement.

You are advertising wrongly. I am getting $0.03 CPC. But you need to do this through proper targeting and be charge by per unique impression instead of bidding for CPC.
 
Do proper targetting and let your ads optimize, after a while your CPC will go down. Facebook is muchh cheaper than Goog
