I’ve noticed that when an ad account starts spending very slowly or gets stuck in delivery, the issue is often caused by the spending limit setting. If the limit is set too low and then adjusted afterward, it resets the learning phase and leads to delayed delivery.
If a campaign stays stuck for too long, you can to temporarily remove the limit. Once the ads begin delivering normally again, they can reapply the limit later.
In our workflow, when my technical team sets up campaigns on new accounts, we typically set the spending limit equal to the intended daily budget—or skip setting a limit entirely. Only after the account has been running smoothly for a while do we add the limit.
Has anyone experienced this issue differently? Do you know any other causes or solutions for campaigns getting stuck in delivery? Any insights would be appreciated!
