Hi, I recently made an ad where I send Traffic to my Telegram channel. I selected a Traffic campaign. Setting are worldwide, no interests and 200$ a day for Facebook and Instagram feed. I got 220k clicks on my ad but I can see that not one single person joined my Telegram channel. I then made an ad also traffic campaign for instagram story ad also worldwide and no interested with only 50$ and had 180 clicks and 30 People joined my Telegram. How is that possible? Is Facebook just sending fake traffic ?

If the Instagram method worked for you, then skip the FB method. You have to keep experimenting to see what works and there is no guarantee that every platform will work like the other.

This is because your goal is sent traffic, means Facebook brings you people that only click often on favebook and not made certain actions after that.
Also one problem could be, that many people don’t have telegram.
You must also maybe try other targeting on Facebook and so on or create a prelander first, there are many things that you can test to optimize your ads.

You got to do conversion campaign. Install pixel on your landing page.

That's sad, it is a lot of click but no conversion. I think you are doing something wrong there.
Change your Targeted audience and test with your ads before you make conclusions.

That doesn't seems to be normal, that is a lot of people, and facebook and instagram are from the same company meta so I believe is the target audience, not in all the countries use telegram and on facebook you will mostly find people above 40s so depending in what you want to promote that is why they are not interested but I do not believe is generating fake traffic, never experienced something like this before.

Even if he targeted the wrong customer, within those 200k clicks was a lot of people who purposely clicked the ad because they were interested in the offer. Unless OP tricked them into clicking

It's unlikely that Facebook is intentionally sending fake traffic. it's possible that the audience on Instagram was more engaged or relevant to your product or service. Continue experimenting and testing different approaches to find what works best for your business.

You can trash FB ads as much as you want, but you are the only one to blame on this case.
Even in the unlikely scenario the you paid $0.01 CPC, you still paid 2.2k without pausing to checking what's wrong.
