Payment failed error even though there is money left in my payment card. Does anyone know how to fix this error? Can you share a little? :weep:

What is the specific error message?

Yeah, seen this a lot lately.

Try a different billing profile or new ad account
Use a fresh card (preferably not the same BIN range)
Make sure the card supports online + international payments
Clear browser + use clean fingerprint or anti-detect browser
If it’s a VCC, some are flagged even if they have funds

Also, check if Meta has a hidden flag on the account sometimes it blocks payment methods without showing a full error. Aged BM or agency account might help if it's persistent.

Payment errors with funds in the card are usually related to three factors: temporary system rejection, incompatibility with the payment type, or a minor flagging of the account. Sometimes, simply changing the billing address, removing and re-adding the card, or trying a different method will fix the problem. If it happens repeatedly, check the payment history and trust level of the account to avoid more serious problems in the future.

please upload a photo so everyone knows the problem, have you tried another payment method or do you need to wait 24 hours

Failed payments when the card still has funds in it usually happen when the system detects an unusual factor related to the account, card, or recent spending behavior. The card may have been flagged due to exceeding the limit, unexpected changes in IP address, browser, or login device, or a previous payment decline. In addition, using a virtual card, a new card, or assigning multiple accounts to the same method can easily cause the system to automatically block it. To fix this, you should check your payment settings, make sure the card is enabled for international payments, remove the faulty cards from the system, and try again with a clean card that has never been attached to the flagged account. In some cases, waiting 24–48 hours for the system to automatically restore the payment status may also be more effective than doing too many operations in a short time.

Please wait 24 hours and pay again, maybe meta is verifying your payment method to see if there is a problem.

Sometimes it's not about the balance could be a card issue, geo-restriction, or processor flag. Try a different card or contact support, that usually helps.

Same happened to me last week. I had to remove and re add the card, then it worked. Facebook payment system is super sensitive sometimes

are you referring to the hold status, there are many similar articles about this issue in the past half year, because it happens so commonly. please create a new campaign with nature images to test and change the account card.

You can try to check these:
  • Check with your bank to see if they blocked the payment (sometimes for security reasons).
  • Make sure your card info (number, expiry, CVV) is entered correctly.
  • Try using a different payment method or card.
  • Clear browser cache or try a different device/browser.
  • Contact Facebook support if it keeps happening.
