Facebook accounts problem

Maybe you can try this:
  • On the login screen, choose “Need another way to authenticate” (or “Try another method”) → use SMS code or backup codes (if you saved them).
  • If those aren’t available, use “Confirm your identity” to upload a government ID and regain access.
  • Use a known device/browser & home IP (no VPN/proxy), and clear cookies before retrying.
  • If locked out, run the account recovery flow (find my account → verify → submit ID).
  • After access, re-enable 2FA and save backup codes + add two methods (authenticator + SMS).

My personal Facebook acc has a problem. 2 days ago, i wanted to enable 2FA authentication, and after enabling it, I deleted the authentication.

Then Facebook did not allow me to log in to the acc.

So how can I do now?
When you enable 2FA, Facebook typically provides 10 recovery codes. If you have them saved:
Go to the Facebook login page.
Enter your account and password.
When prompted for a verification code, select “Can’t get in?” or enter one of the recovery codes you saved earlier.

This is a common scenario — if you disable 2FA without completely removing your authenticator, Facebook will temporarily lock you for security purposes. You should go to **facebook.com/login/identify** to recover, use the email/phone number associated with your account, and have your documents ready if Facebook asks for identity verification.

Hello !

Some ways to recover your account:
  • You can use recovery codes if you saved them.
  • Try logging in from a trusted device used before.
  • Click “Need another way to authenticate?” to get other options (SMS, email).
  • Contact Facebook Help Center
  • If still logged in on Messenger or Instagram, remove or change 2FA there.
I didn't know i could try it that way. I'll check if I'm still logged in somewhere. Thanks for sharing

You can simply recover your account by using your email or phone number
Alot of people don't even have the phone
He should have understood the easiest way was the Auth code
A d shouldn't have been deleted

Use the “Having trouble signing in?” section to enter the identity recovery process, verify with your ID/face photo or email/phone number, and try signing in with a familiar device to recover your account.

Which 2FA app did you use? Was it Google Authenticator? If yes, you can simply log in to your Google account it will automatically come to Google Authenticator

Please go to the Facebook Help Center for Login and submit the following detailed description: "I accidentally tampered with my 2FA settings and got locked out. I am the legitimate owner."

Quickly turning 2FA on or off will activate account protection, causing your account to be reviewed.

If you removed the authenticator app after turning on two-factor authentication, you’ll need your backup codes to sign in. If those aren’t available, you can go through Facebook’s official account recovery process to verify your identity and restore access.

This usually happens when 2FA is removed without a backup methodgo to Facebook's Account Recovery flow and verify your identity with ID if asked. Don't try repeated logins, follow the official steps calmly to avoid triggering extra security locks.

Use a familiar, regularly used device, then contact Facebook Support and submit government-issued ID for verification.
The Facebook team will review it, and you’ll usually receive the result by email within a few hours.

Does Facebook provide specific notifications explaining why they are preventing you from logging in? For example, a password incorrect message? Try changing your password.

Is your Facebook account logged out? If it is, it's quite difficult; are there any other login options that appear?

Since you've locked yourself out of the 2FA loop, your best option is to use the 'Identity Verification' route. On the login screen, click on 'Having trouble?' or 'Try another way,' then select 'I don't have my phone.' Facebook will then allow you to upload a photo of your ID. They usually review and restore access within 48 hours.

That’s a 2FA lockout.
Use Facebook’s account recovery flow and complete identity verification.
If you rely on accounts for advertising, many teams use stable agency ad accounts to avoid single-profile dependency.

Just contact support, not much else you can do here.

That happens when the security layer desyncs.
Only option is Facebook recovery + ID confirmation.
For advertisers, separating personal profiles from advertising operations via agency environments is how most teams avoid this type of downtime.

This often occurs when two-factor authentication is disabled without a backup option in place. The best step is to go through Facebook’s official account recovery process and complete identity verification if requested. Avoid repeated login attempts and follow the instructions carefully to prevent additional security blocks.

Use Facebook’s account recovery flow: go to facebook.com/login/identify, choose “I can’t access my authentication app,”
