Hi Everyone,
So, short story. I was running facebook ads about ahh let's call it a year ago or so to a legit website but it's content was against fb TOS. Long story short I got a few warnings and then banned bc i was an idiot and didn't stop when I got a warning. Let's fast forward till today. I just received an email from fb saying my account has been re-enabled and to say im happy is an understatement.
What I did:
When I first got the account banned I sent a RESPECTFUL email to fb stating I was new to IM and Media buying and pretty much blamed myself. I stayed positive in my messages through the whole process. A few weeks goes by and I get an email saying the account has been disabled/banned permanently and there is NO WAY they were going to turn it back on. So i was like "well shit". So a few more weeks goes by maybe a month or so and I send another email to fb. Pretty much saying the same thing " im dumb, it was my fault, I will do better blah blah", and again few weeks later same email. Account is banned and please don't send us anymore emails lol. Well another few months went by and I was like fk it ill give it one more try and sent the final email, which if you are not familiar can be done by searching facebook for the form to fill out. And this time I got the reply I was always hoping for. One more chance to run facebook ads on the account.
My Recommendations:
1. BE RESPECTFUL - DO NOT send them messages like "wtf, why would you do this to me" ect.
2. DO NOT send them a ton of requests for the account to be enabled again. Fill out the form and WAIT until they reply. If you don't hear anything in a month then resubmit the form
3. My account was BANNED and they told me that it would NEVER be turned on again, but guess what, it is.
Closing:
So it IS possible to get a banned fb account reenabled, but it takes TIME. I just wanted to share my story bc I know lots of ppl who have been banned and given up hope. Just remember be respectful and know that it will take some time.
