Hi,

I'd really like some help on getting my EZA articles to rank well in Google and stay there.

What tips can you give me, please?

Your help will be most appreciated.

Kind regards,

John

I have read it needs to be setup like so, but I have not done this so take it for what its worth

Keywords in Title
Keywords in Subtitle
Keywords in articles (1 or 2 times per paragraph or per 100 words)

Like I said, I read the above on another site (dont remember), so I am not sure if it is all 100% correct. You also need to build backlinks to your articles as well as ping the articles.

I've read something very similar in the various 'article marketing' ebooks I've obtained over the last few months from both here on BHW, as well as the WF and I've come to realize that good ranking articles have the following associated with them:

1. Keyword in Title
2. Keyword in 1st paragraph
3. Keyword used again in 'resource box' with a strong call to action.

Again, I've not done THAT MUCH article marketing myself, but that's been the formula I've used and my stats on EZA have been 'above average'.

Of course, I did NOT do any of the following, which I'm sure would have increased SE ranking and article views:

a. Ping articles
b. Social Bookmark articles
c. Widely distribute/syndicate articles as well.

So, as has been stated above, take this information for what it's worth and when that fails, analyze your articles versus those in the same niche and see if you can find out what the competitors keywords are and where they're getting them within the article.

As the old saying goes..."test, test and then test again!"

Like any site, you need to promote your articles with backlinks, rss feeds, social bookmarking and the like.

I have over 4,000 articles on ezine and originally just wrote the article and had it published. After a while I realized I had to treat it like a site and started promoting my articles and now the traffic from them is really good.

Build backlinks,ping them,make on-site seo,submit sitemap,spam...

There are already many valuable suggestions in this thread to help you. I would categorize them as following:
1. On-page SEO:
- Article length > 400 words
- Keywords in the titles
- Keywords within the first 10 words of the article
- Keyword density just under 2% (Ezine doesn't accept 2% or greater, it has to be <2% KD)
- Ensure you use anchor text for your keywords

&

2. Off-page SEO
- Ping the article URLs once they are approved
- Bookmarking all the article URLs
- Generate RSS feeds for your articles and submit them to directories
- Some people recommend that you buy some PTC traffic to help increase the view count on your articles to help increasing your article ranking and hence the organic view count.
- You could try link building for all the articles as suggested above.

Just one thing to note, we submit our articles to Ezine before we submit them anywhere else. This helps Google index the Ezine articles first before any other. We don't submit Ezine articles to other directories until all the Ezine articles are indexed.

Hope this helps.

That's great thank you.

How do I submit a sitemap for an EZA article?

Kind regards, John.
Go xml-sitemaps.com and create a sitemap for your site, submit it in google(web master tools),yahoo...
You should buy some tools like:Bookmarking demon so,you can submit your articles...
Also if you got budget buy xrumer,or if your budget is not so high buy scrapebox, and start building links.

This is very good information. When you mention submit them to Ezine first are we only concerned with the submission or when the articles are approved?

HI everyone,

That's a great list of things to do.

Anyone got any more suggestions on getting EZA articles to number one on Google?

Kind regards,

John
