This is a nice and simple way to fake your referrers, since I saw some people are still struggling with that.

    Features:

    - fakes the referrer in all browsers
    - blanks the referrer if javascript is disabled
    - one install can be used for any amount of url's
    - encodes the url to ensure safe passing and hide the use even if redirection gets broken
    - fully compatible with wordpress
    - shows the referrer as any php page, even if you have other variables set
    - simple setup
    - no footprints

just go here and follow the steps:

This is free, but I want you guys to give me some feedback. Is it easy enough to use? Is anything unclear? Are you getting any errors? Things like that.

    Enjoy.

Took a look. It doesn't make sense without some instructions. What is a Security Key, for example? Put in a little effort to show how to use it, step-by-step, and then we can give you intelligent feedback.

oh.. just hold your mouse over the question marks to the right of the fields if you don't know what you're supposed to put in. I thought it was pretty straight forward.

this looks really cool, so if I use this with proxy browsing and disable of cookies I can fake my connection on real time and make a bunch of accounts on sites that only allow one accout per user without leaving a footprint?

Is it possible to add a random referrer ? like, you have a list of referrers and everytime you want it randomly changes it ?

no, this isn't used for anonymous browsing. You use the generated links in order to promote offers without your affiliate network seeing the real source of traffic. They will just see your blog or whatever is used as a fake referrer.
And yeah, it's possible to randomize the referrer. I just wanted to keep this really simple.

This will come handy soon enough, thank you. I'll start testing right away.

    Hi Mate!

This is nice, nicely coded, and nicely presented, well done!

I haven't yet fully tested what is transferred and what's not, to enable me to comment on possible leaks, but I have come across an issue.

The issue is that the links generated are "truncating" the parameters in the query string, losing all but the first one.
This is a major problem, because affiliate links tend to carry 3 or 4 parameters, at a minimum, like this:

    http : // afflink . com ? oid=1234 & pid=12345 & cid= 9824 & subid= 5674

(sorry about the spaces, I can't post links yet).

As you can see from the above, losing everything after oid=1234 is not cool, as we've lost our pub id and our sub id.

If that gets sorted, then you've just created something of awesome value for the members of this forum, which is also very easy to use.

you're right.. that was happening in SOME browsers because of a small flaw in the way they send data over ajax requests, but I added a precaution. It's 'fixed'.

This looks quite good, Im not sure why someone above doesn't understand it though?

I'm going to hammer it a little bit later and see if the referral really doesn't show on my stats

well you don't have to carry it with you :) You just copy and paste it once.
Plus, it's really just like 6 lines of code. It's all the html that takes up extra space.

ouch? I didn't mean to offend you.. I was just pointing out that it doesn't require anymore effort than pasting the meta refresh code does.

And no, no data is being stored or shared. It's just a simple little tool I use everyday and I thought I'd share.

Awesome, that was a fast fix!

Will do some tests, and post results soon, but it's looking pretty good.

I must say it's pretty decent of you to provide a tool which makes this semi-difficult task (ref spoofing) mind-numbingly easy for noobs, well done! :)
