what kind of external backlinks will you recommend? also I use link whisper for internal interlinking but AI credits is very expensive.

all service providers on bhw marketplace section has spammed the internet.

On the backlink side, I would care more about real traffic than DA/DR.

I would focus on relevant guest posts, niche edits, and genuine brand mentions. they take more effort than buying link packages, but they are usually better.

for finding sellers that are not just selling spam, don’t only look at the marketplace thread. check their history, how long they have been active, and whether they have real discussions rather than just bumping their own threads.

On linkwhisper, I have actually used it myself and honestly got fed up with it. most of the suggestions felt like they were based on matching words or phrases, rather than understanding whether the two pages were actually related.
so I stopped using it. I use screaming Frog and a simple spreadsheet now. It takes a bit more work, but I would rather choose the links myself than waste AI credits. if you have a small site, you can use the free version of Screamingfrog too.
It takes a little more time, but for a smaller site I would rather spend that time than keep paying for AI credits.

screaming frog is not for analyzing content keywords and internal linking?

A Lot of marketplace services are using the same pool of sites, which is why many footprints look identical. I’d focus on building relationships, guest posts, and niche mentions instead of buying large link's packages.

Screamingfrog is good for checking internal links. It shows which pages link to each other, the anchor text, and pages that have no internal links.
but it does not do keyword research or show keyword rankings by itself. for that, you need like GSC or Ahrefs.
So basically, screamingfrog for internal links, GSC or Ahrefs for keywords.

you can do a manual audit pretty effectively by just searching your own site for relevant anchor opportunities using site:yourdomain.com keyword in Google and linking manually, slower but free.

can confirm the same pool thing is real, we've caught multiple "diff" sellers pitching literally the same site under diff names/prices more than once. best filter ive found is asking for a sample post first n checking if that exact site shows up in other public guest post lists floating around telegram/discord groups, if it does its been resold way too many times to carry real value anymore. for external links honestly relationship based niche edits on sites w genuine traffic beat anything from bulk marketplace threads, even if it costs more n takes longer to set up

I'd go with relevant contextual backlink over just chasing high DA, a good niche relevant placement usually beat bunch of random links.

And whisper useful, but yeah, ai credit expensive. For key pages I prefer some manual internal linking

When comes to BHW marketplace has the same domain recycle by half of sellers so i'd check traffic, relevance, indexing and link history before buying.

I'd prioritize relevant editorial backlinks over simply chasing high metrics source context and relevance seem more important than having a large number of links
for internal linking i also think a simple manual process can work if the site isn't too large

i would prefer getting a few quality backlinks from rellevant websites rather than going for bulk link packages. in the case of internal links i can use manual linking or even use an excel sheet to cut down on the ai credits.

External backlinks are links from other websites pointing your website.
they act as a vote of confidence that tell to Google that your content is credible and worth ranking.

For external backlinks, I recommend a mix of niche-relevant contextual links, quality guest posts, and relevant editorial placements rather than mass/spam links. For internal linking, you can also use a manual approach instead of relying heavily on expensive AI credits.

imo relevant contextual link are still the way to go. I’d rather have a few placement from site with real traffic than hundred of random link that leave footprint.

to be honest, the most valuable backlinks will forever remain those mundane nd boring website with real user that nobody talks about. personally, I would not even bother with DR at all, as there are just too many useles websites with very high DR scores.

so for like when buying backlinks from edu website I should check traffic first and prefer backlinks from top ranking universities first. Is there top traffic edu websites from universities for horses and dogs?

see what i oo focus on niche relevant editorial links, genuine guest posts, digital PR/brand mentions, and links from sites with real organic traffic rather than chasing DA/DR. And honestly, with BHW marketplaces, I'd vet the actual domains and backlink profiles carefully.

Honestly, I wouldn’t use random links from marketplaces anymore. It has been working much better for me to get more specific edits done, post content on websites that receive visitors, and earn some organic backlnks.

the thing is that imo is much more critical in relation to traffic check than edu or DR. In case the niche is presented at a university website then it is great for you as long as the university website is from that niche.
