So, I know this is probably stupid of me to let other people know, but I found an expired domain name that is page rank 5 for only 69$. It has Domain pop 285, 2.5k backlinks and the backlinks look good. non-spammy. 25 education from 5 or so sites.

The only thing is that the page rank could not be validated. The site is from 2001. Has 3,000 uRls according to the waybackmachine...

I checked on google and the site is not indexed.

Would this be a good buy???

I guess one question i have is what does unverified PR mean. it has good backlink profile...

Who is telling you that the pagerank cannot be validated? Paste the domain into your browser address bar and then use whatever PR toolbar you have to check for yourself.

Way too cheap for what you've described there. Feel free to pm me the domain and I'll take a look.

yep, back order price. Bids are starting to come in. Ill never be able to get a good domain for cheap :( From what I see a decent PR2 domain is like 200$ pr 5 600$....

The domain name is[h=1]laurahird.com[/h]

you can pick up good PR2 domains for cheap you just have to know the right places to look! There are websites out there that do the hard work for you and just list PR sites for sale you can buy for way less than 200 a pop.

Dont think that way. The other day i bought a high quality backlinked pr2 for $5 + registration fee. (About $20 or so in total).

Does not sound good to me. There are many tricks to show a high PR but its not for real many times.

NO! It seems that way when you are just starting out but if you persist you will figure that out. Take time to read/watch different tutorials on domain buying made by different people. Combine their methods into your own unique method and you will be good. Just don't rush to jump into membership sites they will pitch you in tutorials. Free ExpiredDomains.net should be enough for now.
