Expired Domain Not Getting Indexed After 3 Months

Hi Guys,
I bought an expired domain with a view to using it as a PBN
All metrics were good as far as I could make out, but after 3 months it still hasn't been re-indexed by Google.
I turned it into a small 10 page site using wordpress, but I didn't index it through Google Search Console as I don't want to leave a footprint.

It could be a penalised site I suppose, but is there a way of trying to index it other than Pingler (already tried that)

Probably a penalized domain.. Most expired domains that were clean which I got usually only needed a few days to get reindexed.

Just add it to GSC in non related to your other website gmail (brand new is OK as well). If there is manual penalty - ask for reconsideration. 3 months is pretty long time, so 99% that the domain indeed have manual penalty. You waited too much even - domain brokers usually refund or replace penalized domains.
 
What do you mean not indexed? If you do site:yourdomain.tld, do you see 0 results? That's weird and for sure a sign that google has taken a special dislike to your domain aka manual spam actions.

You can Google how to get rid of manual spam actions.
 
Most likely penalized. You can try to identify the cause if it's really penalized though if you can, rectify the issues and request reconsideration
 
This has only happened to me once, and sure enough; the domain was penalized.
 
The domain is most likely penalized for spam activities or something similar. G is really hesitant in indexing such domains.
 
Ok, so start a new GSC account and then how do I index it with them?

Also, as an expired domain it was never indexed using the site:myurl.com procedure. Isn't this normal with expired domains, although I realise it should be indexed once I started a new wordpress site?

Add it to GSC, and you should soon see if a "Manual Penalty" message appears within GSC. If you have content up on your website, then you should have been indexed by now. If somehow your site is not penalized, then try to force index the domain via GSC.
 
Likely penalized. I've picked up a few expired with Pure Spam penalties. Built them, they didn't index, put them in GSC and found the penalty. The archive.org crawlers must have been blocked because I didn't see it in thier history.

Dumped the site and let the domain expire. The domain is it good for anything now

Ok, they are saying I can ask for review.
I haven't done anything wrong with the site. No links, just added 10 pages of content.
Is it worth asking for the review?

What do you have to lose, right?

This domain for 100% have penalty - just let it expire, because you not will get any benefits and only will waste time.
In my opinion you not checked before purchase, if domain was indexed in Google.

Yep - just ask for review - if they refuse... well if the domain is worth it just ask again. If not.. fuck it. Move the content elsewhere and ask the domain seller for refund.
 
experienced the same once, manual penalty, asked for review with reason new ownership, denied, I let it expired.

Tried it on 2 domains with the same result. Not worth the hassle.

Although I did find if I don't request a review and wait the penalty will expire if the domain is parked. Some within a few months and some over a year. But for the ones I requested review, no, I think they reset the clock on the penalty.

I did check, but I was told that expired domains aren't always indexed and that doesn't mean they have manual penalty.

Do you think all non-indexed are penalised then?
