Hello
I have found an expired domain with good metrics and related to my niche that I like to use for a fresh new blog.
However the content of the expired domain is in Russian and my content will be in English
Is it a good idea? or its better to find an English expired domain?

If its in the same niche, language should not matter really. Are backlinks predominantly Russian too?

Thank you for your reply, there is no backlinks for this domain. Only high Pa/DA. I will build backlinks later on

If No Link Pointing To Domain Than Domain Is Worthless:p:p
DA/PA is Not Google's Metrics It's Third Party.

Try To Understand About Google & Their Ranking System.

Focus On TF & RD

However is TF Also Third Party Metrics But How This Calculated it's Matter

I previously bought an expired domain with high DA/PA and without backlinks and I found good results

Might Be Possible You Got Good Result But Now A Days Game Has Been Changed.
You Can Still Get Good Result I Have Tested The Same Thing With Tumblr.

What I Have Done

Tumblr 1 PA 35 TF 0 CF 0 RD 0

Tumblr 2 PA 30 TF 10 CF 7 RD 15

Result Of Both After Index

Tumblr 1 Ranking in SERP For My Keyword # 112

Tumblr 2 Ranking in SERP For My Keyword # 86

Conclusion :

It's Still Good If It is Free But If You Are Investing Than Think For Future.

If it shows zero links and DA/PA > 0 there's something wrong.

Thank you for the clarification. I am buying the domain at normal price ($10) so I have nothing to loose. Also I am planing to add some PBN links to it at least this way I have control on anchor texts

Its An Good Idea Keep Building links For Your Domain

If the domains has zero backlinks and some PA/DA, then you either do not check the backlinks properly or Moz is shit as it always is. Most likely the second option. Registering domain without backlinks for PBN purposes makes zero sense. Entire point of PBN domains is, that they have links already in place and thus, have some link juice to provide.

Also, repurposing domain for different language isn't anything terrible. If the name fits in some way at least, then it's all fine.

moz is always slow .... if you have no backlinks why you should buy this domain ?????
check in mystics this is more current for actual ratings.

Check the metrics with ahrefs. Sometimes you're better off buying a fresh domain than a domain with some hidden penalty from the past that you've spent 2k on content for.

Hey where did you find this rich expired domain of yours?
