Hi guys! I know a friend who got a model agency website. His agency is the most important in my region, but due to the awful work his web designer did, he does not show up in the serp for any of his keywords. His site is made in flash, no text at all, no meta description or tags, no sitemaps, robots and all that basic stuff, and it have only 8 backlinks.
My friend is very pissed off, because another agency, which is very little and crappy, does show up high in the rankings. He asked me to rebuild his site and rank it as high as I can, at least before that other agency.
Here's the fact. In the serps, my only competitor is this other site. It is made in flash, no images, google can read just a little bit of text. On-page Seo is nonexistent, it has 139 backlinks coming from 6 domains, all of them do follow, but with no anchor text, just the url of the site. They doesn not have a Facebook page or any other social activities
Being this one my only competitor, I'm rebuilding the entire site and making good seo-on page, a couple of optimized articles, though I cannot insert a lot of articles. Being this a model agency site its main content are images, but I'm writing optimized alt tags for all of them.
I'm planning a big off-seo campaign, with a good link building, production of content, social campaigns, link baiting and viral marketing.
Forgot to say my domain is 6 years old, my competitors is 2 years old.
I think I can outrank my competitor, my doubt is in how much time?
Do you have any experience? I know it depends on the efforts I make, but how much time do you think will be necessary, on average? Well optimized site vs. crappy flash site?
    Thanks for your replies.

Since your competitors site sucks so bad you can build some quality backlinks and add a couple
of quality articles and outrank him. Anytime your competition is low its not hard.
