EXCITED! I just bought the FiverrScript.com Script

How the F* did they trademark GIG - LOL! Well even on Craigslist they use the word GIG - but thanks for the warning JEEVS - your right you never know - i will TM it on my site - and then note in very small owned by Fiverr..

So how is it going cdn? You got people flooding in yet?

@GIFTGURU - i just launched is today :) so not yet "floods"

My aim right now is to get people listing jobs - before i launch my media to drive traffic (customers) - I hope to be as successful as you :)

I got the script up and running - just want people to start posting work on theere so i can start my media buy..

HINT HINT! see my sig!

site looks good, here's an idea... copy/paste gigs from fiverr onto your site and sell them for 6 or 7 bucks, just so you fill out your gigpage... doesn't look good with only 2 gigs (if someone orders one of your copy/pasted gigs for $7, go buy it from fiverr and pocket the $2 difference... give yourself an extra day or so)

I think you will be my man...you are pretty tenacious

Just watch out for the copyright claims by Fiverr-

most of fiverrs TM claims are bogus BS and they know it. They filed those claims with some shoddy lawyer years ago and have not heard anything back yet. They will never get most of their claims trademarked because they are too vague.

Fiverr tries fighting everyone who owns a clone by getting you shut down through paypal. Paypal licks fiverrs bunghole, mostly because they make millions a yr off of them. Paypal has illegally and unmorally shut down dozens of clone sites based on false trademark claims. Expect your paypal to be limited in a few months and long ensuing battle to get it back to normal. You have been warned.....

Also, don't expect to make any real money on this site either. All the buyers are at fiverr, all the sellers go to clone sites. Add to that the fact that you only make about $.40 a order (assuming $5 like fiverr here).....plus most of your sellers disappear after posting gigs so you're stuck sorting out the mess between the buyer and your paypal account.

The older fiverrscripts are crap, total crap. The newer script is better, but support is still horrible.....

How do I know all this? I run a fiverr clone, have for months...seen lots of sales go through....never made a single penny in profit.

p.s. you need to change your design enough so that fiverr cannot say you stole their design. You will never win a paypal fight with that design.

Hey let me tell you how can you ignore those TM and all
* Don't copy their logo and don't imitate it too closely. Again, this one is self-explanatory.

* Put a disclaimer on your page written in fine print stating you have nothing to do with Fivverr, it's partners or associates.

* Put a "Powered By" section, so lawyers can see you are using a publicly available CMS and haven't made a half-assed replica.

* Find a real lawyer or at least go to a law forum to get some free legal advice so they won't be able to nail you over something easily available.

* Offer something different and better. This is the easiest way to stay out of trouble, and also to succeed.

Have you upgraded to the latest version v2.5? Has the script been working good? I hear alot of compaints about non standard quirky behavior. Maybe it's a server compatibility thing?

upgraded no prob - took a while since i customized my site.. but all done and working 100% (well the 2.4 upgrade) the 2.5 is a small upgrade i still need to do

Anyone want to share expenses for the fiverrscript? please message me.. I want to buy it badly but i hope 1 or 2 will join so we can share expenses
