    Hi all,
Hope you all are doing great:)

I got a problem with MS excel. Whenever I type a date in a format like this:
    01-01-2010
It automatically changes to format like this:
    01/01/2010

Anybody knows why it does so and how to fix it?

I'll be obliged to get the answer folks :D

    Bk...

PS: I'm an excel NOOB thats why I've asked the question :)

Select the column or row or all cells which contain the dates > right click > Format Cells > Custom > dd/mm/yyyy then click in box below Type: and change / to - then click OK
