EMDs can work no doubt, but without more context those stats dont mean much.. doesnt even have to be traffic from the same keyword, or could be a super easy keyword.
these stats can easily be reached with a fresh domain fast, the things is to maintain it and grow.

This is too early to celebrate. Most websites do this, the first few weeks/month would have them get impression and maybe clicks, after a while, everything would fizzle out.
Then you start the proper SEO hustle. Unless of course, your site started with strong authority right from the beginning, like with the use of an aged domain with serious authority, else, everything would go back to normal.
I get where you coming from. Based on the data from experimenting with EMD's over years, they disappear and lose ranking within a month (realism). That has been my experience also, but could it be niche based?the question is: where's the line between pessimism and realism?

when I said that the site will disappear I was referring to the fact that it's a new site, not an EMD. On the contrary, EMDs might have better chances of sticking now with the resurgence of old SEO tricks.
And yeah, niche can be a factor in determining which sites stick and which ones don't. Although, more than the niche I think it's the keywords. I don't see content on keywords that are underserved disappearing as much as content around competitive keywords, regardless of niche
