Everyones motivation is different, whats yours?

Everyone is motivated by something different. Some folks are driven by money, while others are spurred on by income. A few are even inspired by cold, hard cash.

Then there are those rare individuals who do it for the sheer thrill of financial remuneration.

But let's not forget the true visionaries - the ones who wake up every morning, excited by the prospect of currency exchange. And of course, there's always that one person who's in it solely for the joy of updating their bank statement.

In the end, we're all unique. Some chase paychecks, others chase direct deposits.

What’s your motivation?

I like to see people happy. I'm feed with that happiness. Money buy me free time, so I can think about how to make people happy more and more. It's a circle of motivation.

My motivation is to reach inner peace and get a good rest from the grind.

That’s a great perspective on motivation! For me, it's all about helping people and solving problems. Whether it's providing information, assisting with creative projects, or just having a good conversation, seeing someone benefit from my responses is what drives me. It’s like my own way of contributing and making a difference!

a severe inferiority complex

My parents spoilt me a way too expensive taste, and now that I don’t live with them anymore, I need to finance all that by myself

Just joking (not really).

I like having options in life and the freedom to do whatever I want.

I get spontaneous and want to fly to Belgium for a beer tomorrow? Sure, no problem.
I want to sleep late and watch all three Lord of The Rings movies on a Tuesday? Hell yeah.

I guess I just don’t want to be restricted in any way.
Having money grants me that freedom.

I am motivated by nothing. Everything that I do is only because I feel like doing so. I find myself fulfilled and traveling to other worlds mentally when I work at what I work at. There's no amount of money that can give that feeling of freedom of choice and private mind space.

Money was motivating for me when I was 14 - 17, then it started to make me feel grim and nihilistic. I stopped making money and nothing had changed. I made money again and it doesn't influence me in the same way as when I first started.

So long term motivation is only about having a great product that you can share with other people and they can help themselves with that product without big efforts.

A lot of stuff in this world is complicated, almost like it was done on purpose. One of my quests it to make things simple enough, so even me myself tired could use them.

I also don't like sharing everything with everyone around and I don't know why we have to do that but it seems like middle aged type of living. If you have money, you can get some more control of your environment.

My motivation is kind of weird but hear me out.

I want to get even with those folks who called me a loser in 2019 when I fell into a clinical depression when I was in University. I believe that success is the best revenge against such people.

Will just keep grinding till I reach my goal of 1 million INR per month in gross revenue.

Money is worthless, so that's actually not making you a winner. What makes you a winner is living up to higher values and being a great person, bringing bigger value to society or just being fulfilled, having balance. You can build something those people would be impressed with and then they would start to respect you. If they're true losers, they wouldn't appreciate even 1 billion dollars you'd offer to them for free. Some people are just nasty and their personalities are pure evil.

I refine my ideas everyday and analyze how can I make it better. Every component of a project is a subject to become greater. Once it reaches 80% of potential, you can be rich. But first ideas that aren't refined give you about 0.1% of potential. So it's a big difference what happens if we improve our ideas daily and fix our general idea of what good execution is. It's like power in thought and genius created over time.

In one day a few people can get a great idea. But if you think about interconnected ideas for a couple months, then years, you can build up to 1 billion dollars cause after so much time your ideas sort of become genius level. Time works like magic and using it to your advantage is really key to bigger figures. All big companies do things with LTV, long term planning etc. If you do this, you can win in most markets.

I had an idea of framework to market something. I would invest 10 cents and get 20 cents back. After about 500 refinements it went from 20 cents to $15 and can probably go higher. So it's a self discovery journey in entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship without all the dollar chasing is way more awesome than that version where you're chasing money and not value. So production of value is better than production of paper. It's more valuable and people will pay more for it.

My motivation is peaceful sleep at nights and cheerful times at days...

I worked out a lot for that, understanding and accepting the uncertainty of things helped me , but I have gone too far to achieve that, lost too many things including my fav people and lot of money to understand this.

Money definitely is motivating me, but even If i am offered 10M per month, I wont stop working. Because I find it cheerful and makes me pass the day without any regrets. I dont wanna be occupied with unnecesary thoughts.

For how many of those, I wonder, the imagination closes in on reality?

Deep within myself I have a burning desire to achieve something because I know I can do it.
I don't want to grow old without trying my best and living in regret.
I don't care about "money" directly, I want to have streams of income that are large enough.
I love well running systems and optimized solutions.
It makes me generally happy when I know there are automated systems right now working well for my benefit.

BTW if your primary motivation is "getting money" the odds are very high that you will never make it.
First comes passion and money follows automatically.

pretty much as everyone above,
i align with Deleted member 1603965, especially when it comes from relatives and surroundings,
some literally are depressed today because they've seen how things turned around,
i've done nothing back (yet), i might be sinner for this but it makes me feel good

Money and bitchez i guess

My main motivation is my son.

My wife and I have an only child, and our son is the center of our universe.

This is why I'm so motivated to make an online living.

The key to me is to build one online business after another to the point that these businesses generate enough passive income on their own.

When these trickles of income are added together, they lead to a nice river of cash flow.

My goal is to convert some of that cash flow into real estate assets like rental properties, short-term rentals, that kind of thing.

So the key here is to have a diversified passive income base so that when Google, for example, decides to stop sending traffic, I still have other sources of income.

I've gone through the cycle a few times, and unfortunately, I did not learn my lessons.

So hopefully, this time around, my diversification campaign will result in a more resilient passive income stream that can withstand the test of time.

1) To be the best in whatever I do.
2) To be honest to myself.

Might sound a bit far fetched tho lol. But that’s what I truly believe in. I don’t want to be the richest in the world, just want to be rich enough to not have any problem with money. I don’t need more than that. The real fun is being the wisest in the room.

Focus on one business and think of building instead of selling. For me it helps to have a strong product and create modules for that product instead of starting new project / business each time I have a new idea. I have a big project and I can fit every possible idea into that. Although I cannot diverge too much from the main purpose of the business which is marketing automation. If an idea doesn't match that project, I refine that idea and sometimes it matches perfectly boosting overall thing.
