Ever seen a ghost?

Sometimes people don't have to believe in pink elephants to be run over by one.

Sage is cleansing, if you burn it once a week or so it should help. Not in all cases, and not permanently. There are more drastic solutions too.
But in general, sage clears the air.

Normally though, you get this stuff when people have been playing with Ouija board or think its cool to tell a scary story.
If you have been playing with it, get help. Not from me but your local priest, pick any decent religion. :) Don't trust people that charge money other than material cost. Top secret materials don't cost 300+ bucks...

Thought i'd reply to this, as I had a similar experience when I was younger, what I was referring to to OldSalt earlier...

1) I agree, don't mess with Ouijia boards. No good will come of it. A friend of mine did this a couple of years ago as a 'bit of fun' and in the days after his dog- which was healthy and that he loved loads just suddenly died out of the blue. There was no explanation for it, but my friend swears it was something to do with messing around with the board. He was adamant to me that I should never try it/use it.

2) When i was a youngster around 7 or 8 i used to go play at a friends house (not a friend anymore) he had a really old kind of grand manor house. And his house was near-certainly haunted, and haunted by bad spirits.

-One of our friends saw a ghostly figure walking across the garden, and subsequently refused to ever go back to the guys house. I genuinely think it slightly traumatised him as for a couple of years he really didnt like talking about it/it panicked him massively when ever any ghosts were bought up in convo- like really panicked him, to the point of it being dangerous for him.

-The family who lived in the house believed it to be haunted, and stuff would move around on it's own and weird shit would happen. A terrifying story my friend told me at the time was this: One day he went to bed in his locked room, and woke up in the morning to find his favourite teddy bear ripped up and shredded all over his room. He was about 9 or 10 at the time and he was really scared.

-This memory stays with me till this day, and just thinking about it makes me feel genuinely scared/weird. Well my mum was talking to his in the kitchen and i ran off to go find where my friend was. I couldnt find him anyway, and so decided to check upstairs. I started to go upstairs, up this big grand staircase and i got half way up and i froze. At the top of the stairs there was a door with a big glass panel- which made up most of the top half of the door - and standing there looking down at me was a figure that wasn't my friend (just writing this i'm getting goosebumps), a tall man-like figure was just standing there behind the glass staring at me. I was about 7 or 8 at the time, and I just burst in to tears and run all the way back to my mum in the kitchen.

Obviously there was no one in the house apart from my friend who was in a different room. My friends mum believed me and she told my mum that they had experienced weird stuff.

=Eventually the family had to get a priest in to exorcise the house and get ride of the bad spirits. I don't think it worked as they moved quite shortly afterwards.

Even though that memory is from soo long ago, it stays with me so clearly. I will probably remember it for the rest of my life.

I do believe in ghost, but i always remember that God made everything in this world. when i get scared i just think that God has more power than anything. MY FAITH PROTECTS ME .

"if there's a devil THERE'S A GOD"

Had forgotten one thing that happened to me and my wife...

There used to be a programme on TV here in the UK called Most Haunted where a team of investigators and psychics etc investigated supposedly haunted locations. On certain days of the year like Halloween, Summer Solstice etc they had live specials.

This particular year, the live special on Halloween was from a place called Pendle Hill which is only about 10 mins from where I grew up so I knew it pretty well. Anyway that day we'd been shopping and bought some new wine glasses in a box, and we'd put them on a low step (about an inch high) in the room where the TV was as we'd not had time to put them away properly. There were 4 of them and they fitted on the step fine, no overhang or anything.

It was about 11.45pm and we're watching Most Haunted and all of a sudden the glasses fall off the step. To fall off the step they have to move about 8 inches. There was NO WAY they could over balance, there was no breeze or anything.

To put it mildly we shit ourselves...and moved out of that house a few months later.

I used to watch that back in the day, I remember that episode, it was all about witches.

I guess you probably saw this in the news, giving more validity to the claims

Yep, when I was 12.

Sleeping and I awaken at 3AM, thought I saw 'a women' crawling on the wall.

Almost pissed myself & closed my eyes & tried not to look. Fell asleep again after that.

On a short note, I was having a high temp fever at that time :/

Oh yeah, should probably mentioned the witchcraft aspect of it. Pendle Hill is famous for numerous trials for supposed witchcraft back in the 1600s resuming in a number of probably harmless old women being tortured and executed.

Fair play for going back to sleep again! Though it was probably your fever.

To be honest I find it hard to reply to this. To give a proper answer I would have to spend more time on it than I want to and in the end someone will step in and say "ur duing ut rong!".

But, like Leith said, "where there is good, there is evil too". He said it slightly different but still. There is a universal law that mandates balance. People heard of ying and yang, kharma and whatever but it all comes down to balance and how when that balance is disturbed things can be achieved, both positive and negative, that are perceived as impossible.

The reason people shouldn't play with Ouijia boards is because they don't know what they are doing. It's like giving a 16y/o a Porche without bothering to get him a drivers license too. Or any other instructions.
Most people, and this may apply to your friend too, open a channel and forget to close it. Just dropping the concentration will not close it, emigration will not make it stop haunting you... It is linked to the person that opened it.

To be honest I think the dog is unrelated but I wasn't there so can't be sure. It is just not how it normally spreads. Ripped teddies or scratched pictures are very common, same as creating a mess. Killing usually requires a living creature to perform that killing. Self mutilation is also very common btw.

The thing that bugs me though, is people always assume the worst. Not every entity is out to get you, most of the time I would say it is friendly.
Most people know someone that loved them before they died right? Also, it is possible for the living to connect to you too...

I can remember crazy and scary things like someone that could pinpoint several locations, within a meter, of where someone had died.
I can remember hearing sounds when there shouldn't be.
The feeling of being watched before I was tapped on my shoulder while alone in a room.

Need I go on?

But, I also remember how things changed when I let it go, when I realized that not everything that looks scary, is scary.
Follow your guts when it comes to these things but don't be scared because it isn't human. Lots of things don't need to be human to be useful to you.

The paranormal is not just ghosts btw. It is also being connected to those close to you. Have you ever shared a dream? Would you believe me if I said I shared several?
Have you ever had visions? Would you believe they are for real?

Not all paranormal stuff is bad and even the ghosts are not really scary, they only have so much power. Nothing compared to those who focus.
But, I do believe it is good to tell your kids there are no such thing as ghosts, the more you open that mental door, the more influence that world can have. If you don't know how to handle that it might be better to just lie to your kids. lol
A Ouijia board is not just a door though, it is a freeway and without bounderies, it gets nasty real quick.

Also, I suggested a priest from a decent religion as they normally don't dismiss it. But, if this priest feels walking 3 times through the house shouting "Jaweh is His name, be gone you evil spirit! Haleluhuja, amen!" it won't work, noes. :P

Also, in the case of a haunting you dismiss all spirits, not just the bad ones. It is possible though to focus on just one or two and make them leave. Sage cleanses like I said, but not just the negative energy, all energy. Erm, that is not correct really, it just stabalizes things and you percieve that as cleansing, nature likes harmony. :)
Salt is a barrier, if you know how you could use stones too. Salt is easier though, just drop it as a frontier, light a candle while focussing and forcing a safe heaven within the salt circle. Let the candle burn, you will see the flame change after a while if you did it right. Less restless. Like I said, stones are a bit harder but could be done by the average n00bie, it is not a course I will give here.
For personal protection, though it really isn't protection but more of a kathalist is wearing a piece of glass stone. (it is not made of glass, it just looks that way when polished). This will help you when energy in general is noticable to you, concsious or not. Search for indigo children to understand this a bit better.

A longer reply than I had wanted but I wanted to be as clear as I could without going into too much detail.
Like I said, people always fear what they don't know. While I don't recommend looking for it without knowing what it is you are looking for I don't think ghosts are all bad. You were just told to believe that but if you really think about it, the entity people call God is just a ghost too... ;)
That is not to say you should worship negative things, I am just saying not all ghosts are bad. You shouldn't always run when you encounter a ghost, you shouldn't assume all ghosts are out to get ya.

On a side note, I read your reply to OldSalt and it was the reason I replied. Also, the story OldSalt shared can be easily explained if he was raised Cristian for instance, they have lots of angels. But, to say his experience wasn't real would be stretching it. Those that love us, and especially the love of a mother for her child, can do amazing things. :)

I have never seen a ghost, but I have had an experience with some kind of paranormal stuff. A few years ago i was in a mansion where some crazy woman back in the 1800's killed alot of her slaves. Well one of the rooms felt like 10x more air pressure then the others, and a spot in it was super cold compared to the rest, and there was no air conditioner blowing air to that spot. We'll I decided to "mess" with it to see if it was a ghost or whatever. So I imagined shooting some of my energy at it to see what it would to. Then after a few seconds I felt something grab me on my arm. So then I decided to shoot energy from that part of my arm outward,to get it to stop touching me. It took like 3 or 4 times before it gave up.

I have never seen a ghost, but I have seen a stool moving on the floor with screeching noise on its own just about a meter from me. No one was pushing it.

I appreciate you spending the time and effort in writing such a post.

Yeah i completely agree with wha you say about don't just assume all stuff is bad stuff. I just think people who do not know or understand something always assume it to be bad- because it is the unknown. I have no idea what happens when you die, no one can be sure of that, so who knows what happens to/if you have energy that stays. If ghosts do exist 100% there is no reason to fear them anymore than living humans- it makes no sense to.

Haha and when I ran away I was a scared kid of 7 or 8 years old- I think it is understandable!

For me they are beings from other dimensions.

well here my story this happen to my roommate when i was 18 during my diploma, i live in a dorm with 5 people on the 3rd floor. this happen when i was staying up late alone playing guitar at the door i think around 3 am. I was feeling a bit weird when the wind give me goosebumps for a few times while playing. Then i go straight to bed. Then around 4am my roommate suddenly wake up, and saw a small girl with long hair standing up near my bed and he was so shocked and run to my friend bed. He wake em up, and try to see if it was real and for the second time the girl was still there. he jumped between my friend and goes to sleep. Later that morning he was having a fever and scold me for playing late at night.

I think some people, who are otherwise normal, might have a moment of schizophrenia and see or hear something that isn't there; brought on by stress or other factors. Or if something apparently supernatural happens to someone in the middle of the night while they've been sleeping, that is 100% sleep paralysis, which produces such phenomena.

If you think about how much of reality our brains process every second, sometimes there will be a glitch.

Sleep paralysis is different though to seeing an apparition?

I understand what you are saying about glitching out, could be a possibility. I think though it is something we have yet to truly comprehend or understand.
