Find blogs that you would expect potential exhibitors and dealers to read and purchase banner advertising there.

Apart from that I would also say make your website SEO friendly and integrate with the major social media platforms.

I would start by creating forum accounts on the major art forums (the names of which I have no idea) and creating a thread on each detailing the event, and linking back to your website/landing page for exhibitors to learn more or sign up.

On top of that, I would create a Twitter account for the event and favorite/follow/RT art niche folks, you only have to get your account viewed by one person running an art magazine/blog/forum etc. for them to decide to feature your event and get it in the eyes of thousands of followers in your niche.

Beyond that, making a nice and clean SEO friendly website is always good. I don't have much to say about AdWords, I am still learning a lot about that interface and best practices so good luck there!
