Evaluate advertising account quality

I’ve noticed the same pattern. Accounts with previous spend history seem like they should perform better, but I’ve also had issues where ad delivery is inconsistent or ad spend just stalls for no clear reason. Lately, I’ve been leaning more toward fresh accounts where I can still set time zone, currency, etc. They seem a bit more flexible, at least in the early stages. Curious to hear what others are finding works best right now.

I’ve noticed the same thing while testing white hat campaigns. Accounts with a spend history seem like they’d perform better, but in practice, I’ve had trouble getting consistent delivery, sometimes ads barely spend or the allocation seems off. On the other hand, unused accounts (where you can still change time zone and currency) tend to run smoother at the start. Curious to see what’s working best for others these days.

Fresh ones seem to work perfect for me as they're still new, so unless you spam with some shady campaigns, they usually run smoothly without any spending issues or restrictions.

Good quality ad accounts are generally much healthier. Accounts that Facebook trusts are less likely to make mistakes.

Unspent accounts, if properly set up and warmed up, often have smoother distribution because they are not affected by negative history. This type also allows customization of time zone, country, currency - very convenient if you need to test new markets. On the contrary, previously spent accounts sometimes have poor distribution, even no reach, despite clean content - often due to hidden limits from old history or having run risky industries. Many people now prioritize using completely clean accounts to ensure performance and easy scaling later.

I've been testing white hat campaigns with 2 types of accounts recently.

The ad account type has a previous spend history

The unused account type (no spend history) allows you to change time zone, currency, country

I often have problems with accounts that have a spend history (they often don't spend ads and the ad allocation is not really clear - making the ads ineffective)

What type of ad account are you using for your campaigns?
new accs and old accs, both are working fine if you manage it in a correct way. The more you use, the more you know how to use it

Use accounts with a spending history because accounts that Facebook trusts are less likely to make mistakes. Old accounts with a spending history are actually not as good as new accounts and vice versa.

Unverified accounts tend to be frehser than older accounts. They also allow you to change some of the basics mentioned above. Meanwhile, older accounts can be difficult to access due to old transactions. Both have their pros and cons. Consider them before making a decision for the best results.

I usually use accounts with spending history because those accounts are trusted by Facebook. There are old accounts with spending history that are really not as good as new accounts and vice versa.

Because the product of the account that has spent is not the same as the product you are currently advertising, so you have many problems with that type of account.

It also depends a lot on whether your previous account was used for heavy spending or not.
