Etsy to woocommerce transition

I've successfully built a pretty good brand/name on etsy+ebay. I'm looking to expand to my own website ( woocommerce ) well it's mostly to expand, but also i don't trust these platforms to not have a bot randomly put me through the wringer even though i'm following all the rules. Anyone have any experience with this? Was it easy with your name already trusted on this platform or was getting traffic and everything else still a difficult task without throwing money at it?
