I used my etsy account using my passport, uk limited company documents and it was suspended after one year due to policy violation. I am planning to create a new account. Definitely I am going to use new login information, a new company, new address, a different device, and a different browser. Can I use additional verification methods, like using ID card instead of passport upon verification? Do they also keep a record of the ID card number?

One of my friends had met this issue more than 20 times that means were banned more than 20 accounts bought from others before. However, After I introduce a software I used for more than 6 month to him, he has maintained his following accounts stable and still performed his business on Etsy.
the key point is that "Both New accounts and suspicious behaviors on the accounts detected as not native, not genuine" will be banned.
Try 911 proxy with Lalicat Browser to manage Etsy accounts in virtual browser profiles with customized fingerprints, including OS, Screen Resolution, Browser Setting, IP address, browser language, and other parameters, so that will be detected as native, genuine fingerprints from different users in different devices.

And more, keeping your place of shipment is the same as the place of account registered.

How to maintain Etsy Account？
I have mentioned as above.

Etsy is a great, potential, high profitable platform for personal or Soho, small team business, compared with Amazon, Lazada, or eBay. So lots of sellers insist on their business in Etsy after many accounts were banned.

Etsy New Accounts are easier and more sensitive to be detected as suspicious behavior if you are selling the same products, with the same pictures and descriptions as before, so change them absolutely.
Simulate you as an absolutely different new user online, including IP Address, OS, Screen Resolution, Browser Setting, browser language, font, and other parameters.

The Tech of Antidetect browser (Simulate different and stable browser fingerprints)with 911 proxy(different IP Address) is to keep your browser fingerprint detected as native and genuine so that avoid being banned from Etsy.

Same products, similar title and tags but competitor get more sales than mine. He used to rank higher in search

As Green mentioned as above, It seems helpful to use proxy with browser.
Change IP address and browser fingerprint, Etsy will not be able to detect our identity, and can not judge our behavior as suspicious.

Yeap, my point is the same as you. Change identity by Proxy and antidetect Browser as an absolutely new user in different IP address and Browser Fingerprint. So that Etsy can detect our new account without any linked to the old suspended one. Also my friend Yami (Soho Etsy Seller) has proved this strategy is available and stable for new account.
