Back on about 12th May the bitcoin hype was starting to get more apparent..

This was when I heard of Ethereum. It was about $80ish dollars then..

I had a gut feeling to buy a chunk of some, but I chose to lurk and watch the space due to being a gaping pussy and crypto noob..

Now slightly over a week later the value has more than doubled to around $180 and I'm regretting not taking a risk back then and having the chance to double meh monies..

I'm going to take a leap of faith and buy some other coins which I notice a growth spike..

Currently in it for the super short term until I have some money to play with which if all goes wrong and I lose won't really affect me, but not in a position currently to get fucked so please send me your blessings..

Its like betting, you either win or lose. I still consider these coins to be no less then gambling. Only invest in them if the you dont care about losing what you got.

Yup totally agree.

If you ever do find yourself in a situation where you are at a loss, don't go chasing losses.

I've sold 500k Stellars for $400ish like 2 years ago :) So lol..

Yeah and like gambling, once the gambling bug bites after some good wins, all those winnings get pissed up the wall. Then you just keep chasing the dream.

Yeah I know it's risky and basically gambling..

Just looking for some short term money flipping..

Make a bet now then

Good luck. BTC is getting stronger right now which is likely to cause a downturn on other crypto's but who knows...

Also I was on coinmarketcap and saw that on different markets the prices are different..

Some marketplaces have it at $185 and others at $230..

So does that mean I can buy from one one for the current price and resell to the other for a higher price? I'm guessing it's not that basic lol

Stay in the game.

If it can be $180 this week, it might raise up to $200 next.

Just stay in the game.

I noticed that too... Coinbase seems to have higher prices than other networks.

Invest little amounts of money first and see if it pays off. Then invest more, but still, it is a gamble. Anything can happen.

Regarding the gambling analogy, it is a little like gambling during a bubble. During the bubble, lots of people are hearing about it, buying it, but bubbles pop. If you're buying during a bubble, at worst if you just hold onto what you have, you can expect to break even in a couple of years if you buy at the top and it goes back down. I think everyone agrees that the Bitcoin and Ethereum platforms are going to continue to grow for years to come.

The winners are the ones who buy when noone is talking about it much, when things are boring. They get the best prices.

Anyone investing in cryptos? If so which ones? I have some BTC, LTC, and ETH and want to get some others but dont know where to start

It bought it for 79$ now it's lit
