sometimes the system experiences temporary errors or overload. please wait a few minutes and try again. If the error persists, you can try the following: 1. log out and log back in, then try changing your password again. 2. try on a different device. 3. use the "Forgot password" function. 4. contact support for assistance as your account may be restricted.

You can log out, log in back and start the process again from the beginning.

If it's an old account and you're logging back in, it will take some time to complete the process.

Give it a couple of days and if it doesn't go off by itself contact facebook's support to resolve the problem.

Maybe Facebook just glitched when you did that, try logging out and coming back to it later.

You may need to wait a few days to see if Facebook reloads your account. Sometimes your account may be restricted due to logging in with too many different accounts, which will trigger a warning.

dont worry, it’s just a temporary checkpoint bug. U can try again after a few hours or use a different browser to log in again.

Passwords can only be changed after two weeks of use.
