I have paid with my own money to test Tier 2 services here on BHW and am sharing the results with others for free. I did that in this version of the case study, and I am doing it again in the one I'm sharing later this week. I have promoted nothing, and only saved members time and money by testing this for them. People like yourself though are pretty good motivators at encouraging people here to never share. If you don't like people sharing information for free on this forum, perhaps you should leave now and never come back.

I recently put up a site that I'll be using for testing as well (and hopefully earning some extra $$$ from it). I am tempted to try out both packages, 1 and 4 to see what happens

I've seen enough scams over the SIX years I've been here to be cautious of anything posted. I guess in your short time here you haven't seen any. Thanks for the advice though

If your web 2.0's are babies still, I would say go for it. However if they already have some age and links under their belt, you can hit them a little harder. Wait until I finish the follow up to this and see where we're at.

So all the tumblrs are outranking the other web2.0s?

This guy started the testing 8 months ago and announced some decent results only now. Someone who has enough patience to do such a testing is making/will make enough money to not chase peanuts from any service provider

Why? Because he has a damn healthy mindset.

I like your precise approach which makes it a real case study. One point I would like to argue though:

Does that mean you take for example tumblr / wordpress /weebly from one group and compare with about.me / webnode / livejournal from another group? This could be a significant source of errors because google likes some web2.0 more than others. If you really want to compare the results of different services I suggest that you use the same web2.0 for all services (meaning you setup wordpress.com 4 times, tumblr 4 times etc).

Really not looking for some tiny little flaws here but I actually expect that this approach might lead to quite different results in your otherwise awesome case study.

For the comparison of rankings you used all 25 web2.0 of a group or just 3 again?

Were all the web2.0s d*f*ll*w? Or would nofollow ones work just fine?
