Enough! Had enough!!..Newbie SEO re-discovered

Hey people
Sorry about the title but seriously I have been here a while and have come across numerous threads saying what worked with people with regards to SEO. but what seriously we would like to know is what should we buy or do to actually rank our websites on a number one position on google. I mean we have a website etc but what does it take for one to achieve at least 100 targeted visits a day?
This could really help a lot of newbies and I am sure people wont come out and write threads such as, "Newbie wants help in getting traffic" etc.
Thank everyone in advance for your help.
It will mean a lot to me and others.

To achieve 100 visits? well depends on the keywords you are targeting.. does your keyword get ~10,000 exact match monthly searches? or maybe you want to target multiple keywords if one keyword is not going to bring you your desired traffic.

And for SEO -- Do a variety of Web 2.0 properties, Guest Posts, Blog comments on ******** blogs - Forum profiles, article marketing..

All it takes is finding the right keyword and ranking for it.

BHW is full of information about what you need to do when it comes to keyword research,
backlink building, article marketing etc.

Maybe if you did a little research first more people would be willing to help. This question makes you look lazy!

Thank you so much for your help. I would really like this thread to be for all those lost souls that have no money but plenty of time and no clue of how to rank their sites. I mean I had a few people ask what is web 2.0!!:Eyecrazy:
SO you can imagine! And I always stumble upon threads which are very useful and people go ahead and ask, what is SEO? What are links? What is zennoposter etc.
So this is why this thread should be the end all for all that :dance:

You just need to learn how to use the advanced search function of the forum, then youll find all the answers to your questions.
BTW, the only way to be sure that a method actually works is to try it yourself.

The whole forum is for that. Stop posting threads that we've all seen 5 million times and go read.

Stop asking for help. Start building websites and find out how stuff works. What works for me might not work for you.

I'm all for helping people out with questions they have, but this thread will not be the end for all that. As was said above this entire forum is for that.

Man I know how you feel, because I felt that SAME way when I started learning about this money making scheme. It took me a month to figure out how the whole money making scheme worked, and then it took me another month and 2 weeks to actually get started (plus another week because I didn't follow what I learned correctly, and ended up being told by an assistant that I was suppose to do a particular step before the ones I had done already).

But it's almost 2 months and a half since I began learning about the money making scheme, yet only 2 weeks since I've been applying what I've learned... And here's my current results:




But even though these aren't great results, it's enough that tells me I can do better, especially since I procrastinated a lot when it came to backlinking. I literally backlinked only 2 or 3 times for the first time ever... I made maybe 20 or 40 backlinks too, and this is where I got so far (based on how many days I could of backlinked, I could be somewhere in the top 10 or 20 with my keywords though).

By the way, I have a hard time dealing with perseverance, so during the 2 or 3 times that I did backlinking, I spent a lot of time thinking about when I'll rank (and I'm still doing it), and I eventually gave up numerous times--again and again (and I still think about doing THAT). But obviously I pushed myself to believe once more, other wise I would be here.

Like one member from this very forum said before: just have patience, persist, and mainly take action.

What you're saying is you've seen and read all the threads discussing SEO but what you REALLY want is a spoon-feeding step by step guide to get you up to 100 visits a day?

Perhaps you'd like someone to come and live with you and just do all the work for you too? Maybe wake you in the morning with a cooked breakfast?

Money making scheme? You mean online marketing business?

A whole 7 weeks eh? Wow. You should have really been making $10k/day by day 2 and living in a palace by day 4. 7 weeks just isn't acceptable.

Damn guys you don't need to stick your head in the ground to achive only seo positions and then get traffic. That is not good at all. Advertise your site everywhere like facebook, twitter, youtube, myspace, web 2.0 sites, social bookmarks, google groups, forums, ping etc do them all and you will see a lot more traffic than just building backlinks and waiting for rankings lol

This is very good advice.

There are many ways to get traffic just by advertising. There is also other advertising platforms such as classified ads.

why people are looking for a "ready made" solution
