Endless anxiety

Since the end of the New Year in my country, I have hardly been home for a meal cooked by my wife. I have been home almost only 1-2 days a week. Every night I am in a state of insomnia and anxiety. I prefer to live in the company.

My actions are getting slower and slower and my mind is getting numb. I started to think of ways to relax, to get massages, to go to the pub and ‘burn’ money. Drinking a lot of alcohol. But when I got sober, I lay down on my bed and started to think.

My head started to hurt, I couldn't see inside myself, and I started making plans to buy luxury cars, new toys, and satisfy my vanity. But then I struggled inside. There was always a voice inside telling me to stop everything.

I couldn't study calmly anymore, couldn't think in a calm manner. I have become weak inside and I often reminisce about the past.

I think I'm sick.
have you tried talking to a professional about it? or did you share this with your friends, sometimes all we need is a friend who will listen to what we feel and make sure that we're not alone in this world

I wonder how are doing now. Hopefully got better? Seek help if not, man.

Sounds like you’re going through a really tough time. Hope things get better for you soon — stay strong.

My experience through roughly eleven years of—non-diagnosed, suspected by me (and by my psychiatrist in the last two or so years)—anxiety, depression, and PTSD:

• Being busy and productive helps. Chess, creating AI music, posting in forums, ranting / rambling and trying new things is what I've done. Always doing something and not staying passive is my suggestion.

• Sun, wind, meditation and physical exercise help with anxiety and depression. For someone who prefers sitting indoors, finding a balance between physical activity and what I like was useful. Sitting outside with a phone or PC boosted my mood (when I used to do so, that is).

• Try medication. Maybe it'll work; maybe it won't. But it definitely won't work if you don't try them. I was happy to be given some, even though I doubt that they work.

• Try to fix problems immediately, and don't take days one at a time. Things like anxiety are a mental poison; they only become worse over time if left alone.

Happened to me when I was working 9 hours a day, every day. There were some moments when you question your own sanity and the nature of your reality.

Thank you all for your kind messages—I'm doing well. Since the beginning of May, I’ve made a few meaningful changes in my life:

Personally, I started working out 3–5 times a week and have already lost 6 kg. I’ve cut out sugary drinks and now stick to black coffee, water, and tea.

Family-wise, my wife and I have been having deeper conversations. She now supports me staying at the office for four days a week. Together, we’ve also set financial goals for our family this year.

Professionally, we’ve hired more team members to help share the workload and have restructured parts of the business.

Socially, I removed about 500 contacts I rarely speak with and have started building closer friendships with people I truly connect with.

Overall, things are starting to move in a much better direction. Thank you again for all your kind words and support

I used chatgpt to help translate the above words because my English is really bad and I don't want to express my meaning wrongly, thanks again for all the help from members and wish you all a good job and a good life.

You’re not weak, you’re exhausted. This might be burnout or even depression.

Take rest and talk to your best friends. Do Mediation. Read good books you will be better.
