Hey guys,

Just got off a call with Empire Flippers and thought id share some info they gave on how they work, had these questions and I thought it could save ya'll time if you decide to go with them.

1. How They Price Your Website - they will estimate your site by using this formula

Average net monthly revenue X 25-32 = Your Sites Asking Price

They choose the multiplier of the revenue based on many factors, like expected growth, age of the site and so on.

2. Their Commission -
EF charges a flat 15% commission of the sale price.
They have a "first sale fee" of $200+ bucks but negotiate with them, they waved the fee for me after I negotiated.

3. How They Work -

A. They serve as an Escrow which protects you from getting scammed (meaning, the buyer will transfer the money to them, so you can't possibly be scammed).

Once the transfer of the site is completed, you get the money form Empire Flippers.

B. they help with the process - I was asking about a few amazon aff websites i might sell in the future, and they will replace the affiliate links, help you with the transfer and all the good stuff.

Another good thing is that because they charge a % of the sale, their interested are aligned with yours, and they will try to sell it for MAX value, so can definitely save you some time.

* if you're selling an amazon FBA business, they want to see 1 year of sales at least.

They do charge a pretty high fee (15% can be a lot) but I would rather deal with them than with flippa, whats flippa comission rate by the way?

Hope that helped!

Promotional thread? or just a tut?

Justin here w/ Empire Flippers.

I doubt this was someone on our team posting this. We definitely promote our business, but we typically do it in a much more up-front way. (Telling you who we are, what our bias is, etc.)

.... dude just sharing some info I was looking for and couldnt find...

@Notion ... lol I know right ?

@empireflippers , everybody already made me your partner so let me know if you can throw me a bone. lol.
Btw, your agent waiving the fee for me isn't a bad thing.

And to point no 3. you assumed that id rather wait vs sell quick... so it depends on the situation... I would take 280K now vs 300 in 6 months

Your guy was great btw, will use your services soon.
