I've seen a few people putting emojis in their video titles.

But is it really worth putting them there? Surely youtube can't understand them and people won't be searching for emojis on youtube..

We've been using them in our email subject lines more frequently.
Still building up stats to make a valid argument.

However, they are short visual and fun.
Thats always a good start

It certainly does help catch the eye, but without the proper thumbnail to go with it, it really won't have much of an effect to be honest.

Emojis are like pets for some people and even they think like themselves as emojis, so there are many chance that it could attract and of course it is not technical for youtube or human

Yes, it makes a difference. By doing so, you simply differentiate yourself from others.

Emojis are an important elements of internet marketing. You'll get better conversion if you have an Emoji and an odd number on your title. And You won't be like everyone, as said @Parker2010

A title like :

9 OF THE FUNNIEST VIDEOS will get (Theoretically, it also depends of the thumbnail) a better number of clicks than 10 OF THE FUNNIEST VIDEOS

I haven't heard any direct stats that say its one way or another for videos, I can tell you that for emailing, emojis have a higher open rate. So, I'd assume the same would apply to a videos title. I doubt it would be drastic, but it can't hurt imo, it could only help.

All the emoji does is help to catch attention. I guess on Youtube if you're already ranking in one of the top spots, it doesn't matter much, because people would watch the top videos anyway. However if you don't rank too high, it can make a difference. At least this is my theory. It won't hurt for sure.

With emails it's different, it can make a lot of difference till the point until everyone is starting to do it like for instance on the Marketplace here, that's when it starts to beat its own purpose.

Yeah for sure they can help in increasing CTR and thus it will help you in gaining top spots easily. Trying it is not a bad idea.

yeah i'ts really worth it it's catch the eye & make your video professional

Keep in mind that Google briefly allowed symbols to display in the SERPS titles before removing them because of abuse, so if you guys want to test this I'd recommend doing it now before Google removes them from YT as well.
