Hello friends,

Google's new update regarding Exact Match Domain on 28th Sept now in action my 3 sites have huge fall in raking due to this so be alert .. if you are using exact match domains for your keywords then you would be the next.

Not really next but you are closely looked after if you are making a sh*tty website

I have a couple of EMDs and they all rank same as before.

Yes the % is 0.6% but this is not good for those who are effected with it.

Depends on how good your site is. Cos, I have a few not moved or gained and few that have lost. Now have to do some work on the lost ones to get them back.

Hope to see them back on track.

Does this EMD update affect all EMD sites or sites with low quality content having EMD's ??

My EMD rankings is still just fine. I think this would only affect to crappy sites. Don't rely on the EMD power itself builds some quality backlinks on it to saves some trouble.

I have a few EMD adult sites, and they have not moved. But they are video sites and google seems to like those anyway.

Matt Cutts told Google Launched Another Update During The EMD Update. I have 2 site not EMDs site but got it on this update

^ the other update is panda 20 which happened just after EMD update

IF web site has quality unique stuffs and not spam contents no need to worry EMD or what ever ,that 's how i Feel

I have 2 EMD'S that were on page's 4 and 6 of search results.(Fairly New Sites)

The 1 EMD has just 1 article on, and the other has just 2 articles on.

And both of them have shot up on to page 1 (Shocked) Niche, is food & Tech related. Not really done any work to them either.

Google probably removed many of the sites in front of you and those guys are going, damn my site got killed by a google update

I think google is just killing it self. I mean what will you do if your brand is looks like a keyword but still you are an genuine. I think in that condition you will have to suffer Google's weired decisions....
