    Hi all,

I recently registered an EMD for one keyword I'm targeting. Now I noted that I actually have the same keyword in my inner page paths as well. Do you know if it's a good or a bad thing to have the same word mentioned two times in the URL? One concrete example could be, if Apple had this kind of a URL: www .apple.com/apple-iphone. Would it be good or bad to have this kind of a URL when trying to rank with the keyword 'apple iphone'?

    Thanks!

So you would go, for example, with apple.com/iphone instead?

I think that may come across as overoptimized in Google's eye. But if you can get some high quality backlinks to it, that may negate the effect.
