Hi,

It's been a while since I posted here.
I'm building my authority websites + own products, but I have some spare time and want to set up some EMD's with AdSense and some affiliate offers.

I've been out of Google-ranking and am curious if the EMD's still rank, and if it's a good strategy.

I've bought some great EMD's (minimal 10.000 searches per month) and bought some unique content for this domains.

Also got someone in the office to built some quality links.

So it's EMD's with unique content + backlinks.

I think it's great for some passive income, but does Google still rank the EMD's easily and is it not dangerous for AdSense (high income = ban?).
Planning to get all the traffic via free search, so traffic is legit.

Thanks and good luck with your IM adventure!

I don't know that you'll rank easy as there are a lot more factors than just the domain name; it will help though.

You should not have an issue with decent adsense revenue if your traffic is all organic even if your income is high BUT google is google and sometimes a ban happens without any obvious provocation.

Thanks for your reply!

The traffic will indeed be all organic. Currently some sites are already ranking, so will keep going.

emd still working but you have to be careful while making backlinks.. and it can rank and you can make money...

I was scoring over $1,500 a month on Adsense until Penguin 3.0. Should be okay income-wise if you don't do anything dodgy.

Thanks for your reply. I only built quility links. The content is unique, so the ranking shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks! It will be only high quality links and content. So I think that wouldn't be a problem. It's more AdSense I'm worries about.

I lost one of my biggest sites, now, I do not want to rely on Google, adsense or even seo, many other ways to bring traffic and money.

What is EMD? I'm doing something similar with a web site but I don't know what that is, is it something that could help?

Google it. ...just kidding AMCrarity - it's an acronym for Exact Match Domains.

What happened (why did you lost it? Because of Pinguin?)

Still working, Just get good keyword easy to rank and create the site, within few backlinks rounds you can get top and use affiliate, I prefer Amazon products and product keywords too

Thanks! Yes, i got some great EMD's with great search volume and low competition. Should not be hard to rank.

Yes, EMD et al still works, but Google allegedly does not weigh exact match keywords in the url, or even in the title url on a subpage, as highly as it once did. Make sure the site is not 'thin' in Google's eyes, as nowadays it appears to see "5 pages of content, plus a EMD" and puts 2 and 2 together ("spammy site") rather quickly.

it was a site which I was only adding content, not doing seo, and it got hit.

i was targeting keywords that had no comp, so, on page seo was enough to be on first page. And the worst part I still have like 80 articles for the niche.
