Context: I found this guy through this post: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/gmb-verification-needed.1423626/
He's the last comment on the thread. He literally says he can verify without postcard. Keep that in mind.
I copied his skype directly from his post and then asked him to verify himself by sending me a message on here. He did, so we proceeded.
I asked him how much a GMB was for USA in my category and he said $300. He tried to upsell me on reviews, I accepted one for $8 and I sent it immediately via LTC. Sent him the confirmation and then the details.
This is where he started bugging. He said I needed documentation. Red flag. Literally every other GMB guy I've gotten has done it without documents. He insisted so I said if it was a problem, just refund. Next red flag appears when he says to give him 8 hours and he will 'see if he can do it'.
He's roughly on time, hits me up and then starts to go crazy on me. He shifts the blame on to me by stating that I didn't mention it was without postcard. I reminded him that I literally found him from a post that he wrote he can do it without a postcard and that without postcard is the standard. In any case, he insists I'm to blame and then tells me that he can do it but I needed to send another $280. That's like the king of all red flags.
Of course this was getting trashy and hopeless so I told him I would report him to BHW. He took what felt like a year to reply that he doesn't have a BHW account, that I wasted his time and that "this is not a play".
While I was writing to him my final warnings in hopes he might give a crap, he was deleting his past messages. Likely as an attempt to destroy proof.
What he'll likely do is claim that he doesn't have an affiliation with this guy which is funny because that's why I got the DM. So he can't deny that.
Just don't. Look at all his recent posts, too. He's all over the place. Everything from GMB to Fiverr to Wise Business accounts and everything under the sun. He clearly pulls a typical 'meet me on skype' like a bad dating scam but instead of tugging on your heart strings, he tugs on your business side with false promises.
