Hi @casshy, first of all, interesting thread, I'm running a pretty big email operation as we got a big DB using an ESP/SMTP , did try to use our own server but the dude who set it up ended up being much less of an expert than her pretended to be and the setup wasn't working for big volumes (from server crushes to poor Mail tester ranking that would cause some ip's blacklisting etc)
I have a couple of questions: - what do you mean by/ where do you rent "Server with mailer script. " can you indicate it? (ist it basically an SMTP? )
which email verification service are you using ?
didn't really understand the TDS function in this operation can u elaborate ?

Even if it's setup correctly, if they provide you with poor IPs, you won't inbox.

If it's set up correctly and you have neutral IP reputation you may still not inbox all domains.

If you can inbox and your data quality is poor, some domains will not inbox for long.

One of the biggest scams on the internet is companies telling novice mailers you just have to set up your own mail server and you can then send all the email you want.

I've been mailing for over 16 years and the way I do it is as follows...

I get fresh / targeted data and I send it using ESPs that use shared IPs. That way I can piggyback off the good IP reputation of the other users and usually get good deliverability (inboxing).

If I'm using my own servers / IPs, then I domain target the data and just mail the domains that I should be able to inbox the easiest. However, even doing this is can require a lot of IPs to send volume...which isn't cheap.
