Email from Google Adsense + Phone call

They also phoned me at 9AM i was half awake from being up most of the night. I just hanged up on them and turned my phone off and went back to sleep as i thought they had suspended my account or something due to using iframes.

Should i be worried about this? I made $1,500 last month from Adsense and then stopped using it for two weeks as i didn't want to get too greedy and possible get my account deleted.

Are they really just calling me to ask about why i have stopped using them? or do they want to talk to me about something else.

Don't be afraid of phone calls! They usually don't call about suspension of an account.
Actually they DO NOT CALL AT ALL! (do they?!)

It can be a fraud.
 
well, google calls places users to sell them adwords and stuff.
 
No i have checked the emails IP and other info it all checks out.

I thought i set it to never receive phone calls though, or maybe i did that for Clickbank.
 
it's happen to me, on one ligin to my adsense, they ask me for my tel number and send an sms for verification, after that i can login again to my adsense...
 
No Google never calls and asks about the changes

I have checked and it definatly isn't fruad unless google got hacked.

That is where the email came from.

Also they rang my new mobile, i have only given this out to Google.

I could maybe understand them ringing me if i was making them 20k+ a month but i only made 1.5k last month and then stopped. Are they really phoning just to ask me why i stopped using them?

What exactly does that mean? More money?

I did a quick search and people are saying you need millions of UV's to become a premium account holder. My site gets maybe 2-3k UV a day.

I feel you man, I don't know why but when I get similar calls I get scared even if I know I haven't done anything bad (or at least I think so)... LOL

No, adsense premium is offered if you get in the region of 20,000,000 pageviews a month (correct me if I'm inaccurate here), and at $1500 a month, he is clearly not getting anywhere near this.

I wouldn't worry, they wouldn't call you for a suspension, because when they suspended you they tend to close off as much communication as possible, let alone call you to discuss it.

They are probably interested in why you have stopped earning, if you've gone to a different network, how they can get you back, etc.

Don't sweat, honestly.

In regards to "how they can get you back" if i speak to them do you think they will offer me something? Possible a higher % of money? Anyone had experience with this?
 
I would agree with incent.
They are worried why you stopped earning :)
But how can you stop if your site is online and working and the ads are showing.
Did you remove the adsense banners from your website or what?

They do call people sometimes. I started a site a few months ago. After two weeks of having Adsense on there, I got an email from Google asking if I wanted to have a conference with one of their representatives on ways to improve my earnings. The email said I had to respond within a set time, a week as I recall. I figured it was a scam and ignored it.

Then, I got another email asking why I ignored the first and that the offer was still available. I checked into it a bit more and everything looked legit. So I responded to the second email. They responded with a time for the call a couple of days later.

At the precise time, someone from Google did call. They got on the site and chatted me up a bit about ad placement and SEO basics. They answered my questions about adsense policies. It was about a half hour call. All about a site that was only getting about 30 unique visitors at the time.
 
Adwords called me this week, never heard of calls from adsense though.

They alse sent me a personal email with tips about increasing my CTR, with examples of the actual keywords I was using.

It's always the same woman who calls and emails me.
 
Google has only called me to sell me, never to address any changes with an account. That part they automate. If you are getting a call about other stuff be very wary.
