Elementor forcing bluehost and sitegrounds

Hi members

So I posted here on the forum asking what is the best builder for a realtor in southern California. I stated I was going to use godaddy because they have an IDX plugin, forum plugin, and members page plugin.

But alot of members replied that godaddy is a ripoff and to use Elementor. Upon signing up for Elementor...it took me to a page right away that said you have to suscribe and pay a monthly fee for Bluehost or Siteground to work with elementor.

this is obviosuly a HUGE BAIT AND SWITCH. They dont even mention these two webhosting services at all on their front pages but when you go to sign up ...BOOM.

So I am already pretty mad at this, but wanted to ask if anyone has any experience or feedback with either two of these web hosting services

Thanks
You have hosting (Godaddy) and Elementor (a Wordpress plugin) mixed up. The reply by @paydette hopefully cleared this up for you.

I think you may have gone to one of the hosting pages 'get started' pages and signed up and had to pay for a package or something.

I think I will do this, but if I do it will just be to get me started correct? I dont want to have to pay a freelancer monthly atop website and domain costs. Its a realtor website so I am the only employee pretty much.
You can find all type of freelancers here... write all your requirements in the thread. Ask them for some references on forum and you'd be good. Don't forget to do due diligence.

You didn't understand it... I went to their website and I had a prompt to download the plugin WITHOUT any hosting bullshit.

When I clicked the free version, it took my to the webhosting page. You must have gotten the pro version.

I think I confused everyone on this thread when I did not mention that I HAVE NO WORDPRESS.

yeah man just hire someone to set everything up for you hosting, install wordpress, theme, elementor.
I can see you are still learning the basics.

:D:D:D

you have not confused anyone, buddy. The only one who is confused is you.

I expect this type of response from someone who probably did not read the the original post let alone all the threads so far in this post. Please only post if you have something in response to the original question or there is something related you would like to add.

I am sorry, it was me who was confused.

I guessed after making 10 websites with Elementor, I still don’t really understand it.

haha when you built your ten websites with Elementor...do you already have a wordpress for each of those sites PRIOR to using elementor?

Elementor is a wordpress plugin, the only way to use it is to have a wordpress. You can use any hosting you want, don't use their recommendation

Obviously, I only used elementor in certain pages on my sites. They all run Wordpress :)

I never got any sort of problems even though I almost never use those 2 hosts but do use Elementor.
